So they actually did honor the original terms, and then kicked in another $2500 on the trade in value as well. Not sure what changed their mind, but they reached out to me with the offer before I had a chance to even call the, back today.
It is the deal I expected, it is just a shame I had to forcibly remind them of it and what integrity and business ethics mean.

That's good. It should have gone right from the start. Getting a new car should be a good, even fun, experience. Too often it's just not, and that's wrong.

It really doesn't seem like it should be too difficult to have stand-up business practices.
To me I'd either have to find a way to justify my crookedness, bury my conscience, or drink before going to bed.
Then I think I could operate like that.

Dealer's read the forums. They know what's up and they know they can get smoked if they choose.

Here's a good one, got yet another delay notice from Ford yesterday say "we understand your frustration, BUT.....
This would be the 4th production delay from it's original built date the week of August 5th.
I was pretty bummed out with the "we will keep you updated every 45 days. ?
Then first thing this morning I get a notice from Ford saying my truck is awaiting shipment. So called the dealer and he pulls the order bandaid it's on a rail car headed to Washington state!
Now I'm happy. ?
Should be here between September 30th to October 5th.
The end is in sight!

Ha! Mines being delivered to Awesome Ford, too. Supposedly between Sept 16 - 23rd. Live in Tacoma but bought in Chehalis for sales tax savings and they seem to be straight shooters.. we’ll see.

I'm from Vancouver and went with Awesome Ford because they were the only dealer that does the Costco pricing in the PNW. They seem like good folks from my dealings so far.
