dealership has my truck on their website with a 2k markup over msrp. guess theyre poised to fleece someone if i back out. kinda pisses me off but thats probably standard practice. hopefully no-one gets a test drive

Well gents!! Just traded my Ranger in.

For this. Bitter sweet. My first ranger took me to pikes peak. Now, i have to do it again. Took 7 months of waiting.

Edit: taking receiver hitch off my old ranger. If anyone needs one let me know. I live in south texas.
Deletes are the hood struts, and the ass!!!!!

I think the email I got from ford was delayed. My tracker thing was updated saying in production on 9/6… hopefully it really is. It was originally scheduled for 8/29.

Yea that's OK, I live by the Michigan truck assembly plant so I'll only need to have it trucked from the plant to the dealership about 30 miles away.

Just an update on my personal situation: ordered on 4/23. Got confirmation email on 4/23. Got the "we're sorry it's taking so long" email on 7/1. Got a production date email of 9/12 on 7/23. Got a production pushed to 9/19 email on 9/6. The wait is driving me crazy but at least there's movement and somewhat communication. The dealer told me upfront that it would be a solid six months so that would be around 10/23. This seems to align with what's going on so far. Fingers crossed.
