I'm continuing to live the dream with a mini-dump run! =D

I used the new 24" soft loops on the short side of the self-retracting straps to make it easier to ratchet. It really didn't need it but it was a bit less of a reach for me.

And the the stars must be aligned with the temperature being the same as my birthday year (I was an only child growing up in the country in Canada, it doesn't take much to entertain me). =)

Dump run at 62 degrees - life's awesome! Have a nice weekend everyone!

I’ll just have to live through your dump run experiences. No such joy here! :giggle:

Seems like you make either a "mini" dump run or a regular dump run almosr every day.
I know NH is small, but there MUST be other places to go !!!
With all the stuff he's been dumping since he bought his Ranger, I'm guessing they'll have to open another landfill next spring.?

I think he goes to the dump and unloads some trash but always loads up someone else's while he's there just so he can make a trip the next day ?
Shh, don't be giving away my secrets! °D

And our yard is only a fifth of an acre!!! But the never-trimmed 65 year old ewe trees have zillions of branches. This is my third summer of hacking them back

BUT ... The first two were really slow with using curbside pickup and bundling the bigger branches into 4 foot bundles no bigger than a foot in diameter.

With Soupie, I've been able to clear out so much more with much less work. =)

I guess David just loves driving the truck.
I really do love driving this truck, it gives me a big smile. I guess it's like playing in the sandbox as a kid. =)

Almost done with my overlander build, heading to Texas hill country and hidden falls park tomorrow for a overnight

I love the Texas Hill Country, really pretty geography and lots of limestone fossils.

It's been 30 years since I was there and I hope it hasn't changed too much.

I'm a Longhorn geologist by schooling and sure do miss the good folk of Texas.

Have fun with your awesome rig!

Delivered it.
Picked up another load from another point. Delivered it.
Took another picture of my Ranger resting.

(Actually I took like a million pictures, but I washed her yesterday in a hurry and missed some spots.)
What is that? Insulation?

And holy cow, yours is a very shiny truck! Looks really good and makes mine a total slacker in the cleanliness department. =D

Correct. Stone wool insulation to be excact.

I haven’t noticed your truck dirty even while working, from pictures I’ve seen. :)
They are not supposed to be beauty queens but trucks.
I like the way you think!

I've only soaped it up and rinsed it a few times but one day I'll actually use a mitt and then, maybe if the stars align, put Graphene on it! =p

But old habits die hard and I haven't waxed a car in 30 years. =D

Stone wool insulation, I'll Google it and learn something new - thank you Kristina. =)

I’m working on making raised bed gardens. Digging up the grass (it’s an invasive kind with tentacles), is kicking my rear!

Put my new composter together last night. Had to re-do every single step!:headbang: Not the clearest instructions.

I’m teaching my Grandson a valuable lesson. Learn from your mistakes & never give up!

I’ll post some pics once I progress a little more. It’s quite the challenge.:)

I know….sorry you asked!

That sounds fantastic and what a great role model you're being.

It sounds like St. Augustine grass, that's some serious creeping and tough stuff.

Since you're doing raised beds, are you planning some fall veggies?

Absolutely! I want to plant some turnips, mustard, & collards. I’ll have to see what others can be planted this time of year. Starting out small. I have 2 beds that are 4x8. Hopefully, I’ll have better luck with the raised beds than I do with in-ground planting.:crackup:
