Just received my 2023 ranger build date from Ford for the week of October 17th!!!! It’s a super crew tremor lariat(500a), with carbonized grey, trailer package, tech package and spray in bed liner. I got may order in on August 3rd!

Same, I ordered mine on the 4th. ?

What date you got on your COVP?
The reason I ask for the date of your COVP rather than your order date is because if a dealer drags their feet on submitting the COVP, you still get an email from Ford that your order was placed, but it won't move forward until the dealership completes the COVP.

I got my order confirmation email August 4th at 4:50 PM PDT.

I'm not worried yet, but I do feel like the guy at the grocery store who picked the wrong checkout line. ?

Based on the horror stories I've seen from the 2022 crew, I'm not expecting my truck until 2023, but it's nice seeing orders moving along. My priority code is 19. Not sure what everyone else's is or how much of a difference that makes.

Ask your dealership to email you the COVP confirmation.
I got that Ford email that mine had been ordered but I never gave the dealership anything more than a link to my preferred build. But I know that order is going nowhere because the dealership reached out to me month later asking for my driver's license and to sign the build sheet. I told him I was still debating over the XL, XLT, or Maverick.
Which I was at the time. But that order will not get its place in line until the dealership does the COVP.

I really think that's why the builds are all over the place even though ones got their order confirmed email.

Yes, and then maybe not as long a wait as in the past. I know of a manufacturing plant of a large company that was still limping along until about 2 months ago. But yes, we don't want to get our hopes up too high.

Hopefully things will slowly get back to normal, but after what I and several others had to deal with (7 + months wait myself, and I still don't have it) I don't want to see any of these young'un's gettin' excited.

Honestly, this forum is the first that I have heard of a COVP. I never asked my dealer about COVP orders before or after placing my order. I received Order Confirmation on 8/15 and I received a Production Date of 10/17 this morning. I was given priority code 19 as well. Maybe they submitted it (as in COVP) and I am just not aware? But no paperwork or confirmation regarding a COVP was sent my way. I don't think there is any rhyme or reason as to when production dates are assigned, IMO.
