PYT backed into my Ranger at the Farmer's Market

PYT = Pretty young thing. I was picking out some Virginia peaches when this cute little Korean woman approached and asked if that was my truck out there in the lot practically all by itself (so I thought). She explained what happened and invited my to look at the damage. I thought, God give me solace and compassion and please let it not be bad. Well, it's not bad. No real structural damage but it will probably need to be stripped and repainted. There are a couple of spots of the Cactus Grey area that seem to be rubbed down to the metal. Hence the long scrape on her 2010 Escape. (Got to give her cred for driving a Ford). The cutie could have easily driven off without me knowing. In that location on the truck I may not have noticed for weeks.

Makes me glad to see there's still some decent people left out there and she came and found you and owned up to it. Luckily it's only cosmetic and can be fixed pretty easily.

I actually had genius that waited for me to come out the store to tell me I had fix his car after he backed into me… he said I wasn’t allowed to park there because he couldn’t see me. Oh well, he ended up paying 2700 bucks ?

I actually had genius that waited for me to come out the store to tell me I had fix his car after he backed into me… he said I wasn’t allowed to park there because he couldn’t see me. Oh well, he ended up paying 2700 bucks ?

I actually felt sorry the guy, his wife was nagging at him about how it was my fault the whole time. He could have driven off and I would never have noticed until later, it was just a small crease in bumper and bumper skin, scraped paint on the hitch on a 2002 Trailblazer but it f’Ed up his Chrysler pretty good too. The bumper skin and paint was most of cost… I’m curious if they’re still married..

Crappy situation. Glad it’s not too bad. Funny that stories like this stand out as it seems fewer people “do the right thing”.

Okay, that’s probably what I would have said. Then I likely would have stammered out some weird apology and offered to pay for the damage to her Escape. ?‍
