Are you mounting the new tires to factory tremor rims? I thought about getting 1" wheel spacers.

Very sad day seeing Big Blue being hauled away on a flat bed. At least a jump box got him started so he could drive up on his own power. Got a 9:30 appointment with the dealer tomorrow morning. Think its the first time he's been away overnight.

On a side note the tow truck driver was really impressed and loved the Lightening Blue color.

I wonder if updates are causing some softwares or accessories to cause a sort of parasitic draw on batteries. I have yet to have any battery issues going on nearly 3 years with my ranger battery. knock on wood

You're lucky but I'd just keep an eye on it and test it once in a while now that it's 3 years old. I think mine was a combo between our high heat here and I really don't drive long distances so the battery never really gets a chance to fully charge. Since using the battery maintainer 3-4 days a week mine has been fine. Knocks on (head) wood too. ?

yea typical lead acid batteries are supposed to last 4-5 years, but charge cycles are super important. also depending on offroading can crack top plates to break and make contact with lead. agm and lithium is where its at.

So how "dead" can the battery be and still charge the caps enough to start the truck? Sounds interesting but the amps have to come from somewhere.

Supposedly just not completely dead. I spent hours today on YouTube watching people play with these.

so the Tremor grill came in today, not a fan of the red really but I think it's staying for now. I did decide to swap to the black appearance ford logo though. I think looks much better.

I think I may be fanatical enough to take all those one way diodes between the terminals and coat them in orange and purple to match the wiring... teee heeeee Ahahahahah MUAHAHAHAH AHHHH!

Little more work. Waiting on the rest of some bits and pieces that should come in from Amazon today. I think spraying all the clear covers for everything gives it that nice touch. I need to get out to the garage and build the front connecting "tunnel" that will mate up with the rear of the center console (to feed a usb connection to a new usb hub and to feed a 110v connection to a new 110v mini power strip)
