Sounds like a bunch of ole ladies wonder what scarf matches their dress, really you can't be serious (4) pages of responses for what color is best suited?
No worse than how many threads and pages on what oil to run and how long to run it. besides the OP asked for suggestions and he got some.

not really, when I got my ranger I appreciated people posting different ideas. Everything I’ve bought from the damper, to the rear logo and tailgate letters were from pictures that were posted. An I’m willing to bet you read all 4 pages:oops:

I have the Ford Black Platinum (AKA black chrome) lettering. on my Carbonized Grey Scab. they are a light gauge anodized aluminum and have 3M backing tape. Spendy, they were $59 when I bought them this winter now I see they are $66 MSRP. The effect is difficult to show in a still photo, as when the truck is moving, or you are moving behind it, each letter is black until they reflect something lighter, then return to black when the object passes. I'm usually not one for "JC Whitney-izing" a vehicle (they're still around!) but these have a cool effect.

Forum paper is cheap. So what color are you going with?

With cactus gray, I would consider either a magenta or chrome color. I personally would just leave it as is, or a thin pinstripe outline on the lettering.

Wow, $100! Do they come out and install them at that price?
Nope… but they are outstanding quality. Thick and sturdy. I have no issue paying for quality. The other ones I saw for $30 or less were literally pieces of vinyl, no thicker than a vinyl decal from a circuit machine.
