Happy for you, but come on ford. Mine was ordered 12/11/21 and still haven’t gotten it yet. You are really starting to piss me off. They lie constantly, if you need warranty work that should really be special. Just venting. Can’t stand incompetent people

Well I sure hate that you all are have such issues, sincerely I am. I can't help but think it has something to do with dealer allocation. Seems the bigger dealers are having more issues than the middle of the road guys. Could that be the case? I'm not sure how all that works but my dealer isn't all that big maybe the bigger dealers used all the allocations other models(?) Is that even possible. I really don't know how some get through the line faster than others. I'll leave this as my last post in this thread, sure didn't aim to make my delivery seem like gloating.

Not at all, don’t worry about it. When and if mine comes I’m going to do 87 pictures of it with me dancing around it ???‍ We are just frustrated with ford and with good reason

Well part of my build arrived.... Truck has been "in production" for almost two months now.

Welp. I was scheduled to be built next week and got the email this morning that they’ve “made an adjustment” to my build date and I’m now scheduled to be built the week of the 27th. Am I just going to get an email every week telling me it’s pushed back now?

That's the problem I had as well. I got so tired of the waiting game on the Tremor that I went looking elsewhere. Even though the Ranger is a dated platform, it's still better equipped and has better power and fuel economy than anything else in that class. Anything on the lot worth a crap, was way marked up over MSRP. I liked the ZR2 but with the fuel economy and lack of LED's I just quit looking. Finally I found exactly what I wanted on the lot.

At the end of May, I was bumped from week of 6/13 to 6/20. Fingers crossed that holds and it may start to move next week. So hopefully, that's the only bump you get also!

I've been lurking for a while on here and thought I would share my current order dates to help others.

Scheduled email 3/31/22
Scheduled for production week of 5/23/22

Just wanted to give an update to my build.

Email on 5/19 that build week pushed back to week of 5/30
Blend date of 6/4
Email on 6/13 that it has been built with estimated delivery 7/5-7/11
Email on 6/15 that it has been shipped (Window sticker indicates Rail)

I feel bad for those waiting shipping or stuck in production. Just wanted to share my details for info.

Do we have any pictures of the conditions our trucks are waiting in outside the factory? I'd be very interested to see this. I hear of Rangers finally arriving, covered in layers of dirt but all I can find is nice paved parking lots for the Broncos that end up waiting as well.

edit: to clarify, mine has been waiting for months for some chip I guess but has now allegedly shipped. I'm not sure if they ALL get sent to purgatory.

Minor update for me.. inquired with my dealer about potential change from FX4 to Tremor.

Note - I've not yet received a VIN/Build Date email.

Here's what dealer said:

In looking up your order, Ford has you at the highest priority code:02. This means they must be getting ready to build this vehicle, as changes can no longer be made. The only option would be to re-order in July when the 2023 order banks open
Order confirmed 3.21.22
Awaiting VIN/Build Date email.

Cactus Gray, XLT, Crew Cab, FX4, 301a, Tow. At least its some sort of update.

I’ve said it before, but makes zero sense the way they make these rangers and just leave them set. Their public relations have to be the worst. I give them zero stars???‍Every week I call them and every week they say next week. over three months been sitting on the lot

Good luck... My scab has been "in production" for about 55 days. Modules have been online. Customer service says it's a plant hold that is NOT chip related.

1. Heard Ford let some trucking contracts lapse during COVID. That means there is a formula for figuring out whose vehicle will move and whose will sit and collect damage.

2. Dealer recieved permission to go pick it up from dirt mountain, themselves. Maybe, in a few weeks, I will get the truck.

3. Recieved the typical Ford email saying they might deliver next week, if they feel like it.

In addition to perpetually running out of parts, Ford is running out of motivation.
