I installed my Ford blanket in the back seat. When I bought my 1999 250 Lariat a couple weeks later Ford sent this in the mail and it has been keeping back seat passengers warm since. First truck with heat back there so may not see much use in the new truck.
Might actually see some use...back seat shaggin' blanket?

Cut the grass, bag the grass, dump the grass.
Washed off the pollen and gave the windshield a scrub with Bon-Ami* and a coat of Rain-X.
The wife took it yesterday to see her mom a couple counties away and out that way a lot of bugs like to commit suicide. I used her minivan to take the dogs to the vet for their shots. When you have an 80 lb dog and a 93 lb dog you need a minivan.

*I'm told Bon-Ami is the only cleanser that won't scratch the glass. Been using it for years.

Also Barkeepers Friend will not scratch....been using it for years.

Hey Steve, This is the first I’ve heard of this and a few folks have “liked” your post, so I’m intrigued. My instinct would be that it would haze glass - it doesn’t? It sounds like sorcery.

I just watched a few videos on it. It may be that they used too much, like when some people put an inch thick layer of wax on their car and let it dry, but it didn't look too easy to completely buff out. But, the results looked like they'd be worth the work.

Edited to add: In the videos, they were doing it by hand. I'll bet it'd be much easier with a DA polisher and pad.

For clarity, I wasn’t thinking about it leaving any residue - I was thinking more of a permanent haze from abrasion. That powder just looks like it would scratch the heck out of anything - I guess it doesn’t. ??‍♂

Duke, When I first bought my house here in AZ the kitchen sink was very dull. Someone turned me on to Barkeepers Friend and it made it look like a brand new sink again. No scratches or swirl marks at all. The key (like anything) is do it slow and several times instead of trying to load up a sponge with it and do it in one shot. I've been using it it since 2012 on both my kitchen sink and my outdoor kitchen sink and bath still look great.

Hmm, never thought of trying that out on our hazy 1955 green bathroom sink! But now I will (as soon as I find my ever elusive jar of elbow grease). =)

The ones I saw weren't using a powder. It was a liquid polish. It's intended for glass top stoves and the like.

Yesterday had to change a flat (tpms showed a drop of 1 psi every second or so on the original Bridgestone Dueler with 13,000 miles). Was able to get off the highway and into a parking lot. Nothing beats changing a tire in 100+ Texas heat :sun: ?. Stopped at Discount Tire and they were able to repair it (a big Thank You to them.)

Today, I did the Forscan bleed procedure and bribed one of my brothers with Rosa's breakfast tacos to help bleed the brakes. They were getting mushy again after doing the Forscan procedure about 9 months ago (thanks @Steven D Tipton @Silver and others for contributing to the Fix Your Mushy Brakes thread).
I'm sorry to learn of the puncture; though happy to hear the local Discount Tire was able to fix it and get you back on the road! Thank you for your business!

That makes more sense to me - I use the powder version on my stainless cookware and kitchen sinks. Works great. I need to try it out on my tub like Dave suggests.

btw - unlike Dave’s below, mine is indoors…..

Although, I am surprised he didn’t suggest 303 Graphene.

I use Barkeeper's Friend to clean my stainless steel cookware. There's no way I'd use it on glass as it contains a LOT of grit.
Because it's designed to deep clean steel things.

Scheduled to have windows tinted. He said he can get me in tomorrow if that would work.
Said heck yeah.. It's already getting crazy hot here. Kinda wish I had contacted him Friday when I picked the truck up from the dealer. He may could have slipped me in today
Need to order some WeatherTech rain guards....they sure are proud of them though $109 or $124 ordering off Amazon. Think I'll wait just to make sure there's not 4th of July savings.
I need to find out if it's on Amazon but says ship and sold by WeatherTech would I still be able to use Amazon giftcards. I have $55 and that would put a good dent in the price
