Finally got the wheels and tires done. Ever since i went to the bronco off rodeo last year i've wanted meatier feet. My 13 year old talked me into new wheels too. so here i am, 2.5 level, falken wildpeaks 265/70/17 on Method Race 703, 8.5" x 17" with +35 offset. I think it turned out pretty good.

I wanted this exact setup! I ended up getting my KMC's - the 703's were sold out and then got the 285's instead of 265's LOL'

the wheel/tire combo looks awesome tho man! offset looks good too. ENjoy!

Looks really nice!

Could you post more pics from different angles? Ever since i ordered my Tremor, i had theses black wheels on my mind. I'm looking for a bit more offset than the tremor wheels but not too much like the 0 offset version where you probably need to lift or change the crash bars.

Any rubbing?

just confirmed no rubbing, at least an inch space to the front and rear intrusion bars at full lock.

Looks great, man! I love my Falkens, too! Your thirteen-year-old is a "Truck Guy" already? Wonder where that came from...

Hey Calvin,

It looks like you may have found the sweet spot for the aftermarket wheel/tire combo for a 2.5” level that provides the look many folks are after and doesn’t cause any other issues with suspension parts or crash bars.

In case anyone missed it………..+35mm - 265/70R17

It looks great - now, let’s talk about that front air dam. ?

take a look at my build page for pics of a +20 with this same tire but a 285. IMHO +20 to +35 is the butter zone

if i can find a front bash plate for a decent price, that will come off. i dont really go 4x4ing so its not an immediate need.

Just checked, lethal performance has the fx4 skid plate for 260 shipped. not horrible.

Not bad, but in the meantime, if you want it out of the way, you can mod the air dam so it‘s no longer in danger from rocks, snow, or sand. At the same time, the mod closes the gap between the lower bumper and the existing skid plate.

Check out the thread I started a while back…..

https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/air-dam-delete-mod-your-old-air-dam-to-fill-the-gap.8970/

Another member read about it and modded his without removing it from the truck. As a bonus, there’s a free t-shirt with every mod. ?

I checked out your Showcase and I’ve certainly seen you here in the forum. Sharp looking truck Matt.

I’m the poor schmoe who went with 275s and a +15mm offset - super close to the crash bars (1/4” at lock) and I almost had the sweet spot - that prize goes to Calvin. ?

I swapped in ReadyLIFT anti-intrusion beams just to be safe. So, yeah, I agree with your butter zone comment. ??
