its a shame that ford doesn't sell the buttons/bezel, its a $20 part at MOST and they want you to pay $400 for a whole new visor. its also a terrible engineering solution to rely on those tiny plastic tabs for something you press at least 2x a day.
I found just the bezel on ebay:

they come in beige, gray and black.
BUT.... my son...
no, not using the other 2 buttons, i was under the impression you could only use the middle, not sure why.
in other news, i just popped off the little panel and i see what and why it broke. it relies on tiny little plastic bits to make it springy and those snapped. you should be able to just...
I pressed my homelink button to close my garage today and it sunk in to the trim, now its kinda loose and floppy. i searched and saw this happened to someone else but they were looking to replace the whole visor, which is very expensive. can the button be repaired? does the homelink module just...
Good morning, my drivers side cv boot closest to the engine is seeping a bit of grease, you can't really see it, but if you reach up and touch around the edge of the boot, your fingers get a bit of grease on them. the dealer wants to replace the whole thing, for the cost of ~$1200. The quote is...
Got mine in, only thing that bugs me is when the brake lever is down, you can see the outline of this plastic piece... dont know what i could have done differently. over all i like it.
4 new sensors from levit town ford are here, they say FoMoCo on them, and cost 2x as much as the ones from amazon. getting them swapped out on thursday, 6/23, hope it goes well and my fancy wheels stay nice :/ i hate people futzing with my stuff.
so i was messing around with my programming remote, i got 3/4 wheels to beep at me. but it looks like none of it stuck? do you have to do all 4 successfully? after i did the 3 that worked i went back in the truck and hit the start button (i have lariat) and it tooted at me. but it still displays...
nope thats the set of wheels my truck keeps picking up. 34psi on those, 41 on the ones on my truck, i tested them with a digital pressure gauge. so odd.
Odd that that would be happening with what i would assume are genuine, working ford tpms sensors. i got a refund from amazon for the 4 i bought, dont have to send them back either.. hope you get yours figured out, i guess im just out of pocket whatever it will cost to switch over the new sensors...
the more i am looking in to the reviews of the sensors i got, the more it seems like they are knockoffs or something, lots of 1 star reviews despite other people here saying they work, i guess they are hit or miss. i order a new set of 4 from levittownford... 200 for this set, the set i got...
so it lost the sync on the way home from work, i tested the new tires that are on the truck now with a digital meter, the numbers are way different than what i am getting reported from the sensors, so its still picking up the old ones. so weird. i havent driven on them for almost a week and it...
and this morning, they are all synced up with nothing done on my part, when i parked the truck last night, they were all at -- and reporting the tpms system error. this morning.. all there... who knows. the old wheels and tires are still in the garage, about 10ft away, up on a shelf, i couldnt...
