Spyderco is good stuff. Stay sharp forever. I just bought a tenacious.
If you visit the outlet they'll throw a fresh edge on one your Spydies while you shop for free. Great people, great products, and mostly American made.

Thanks Doug. They're supposed to be really great quality from what Ive heard. Funny because after washing the truck we stopped back in downtown Durango because Annie wanted to grab a gift for someone. Well I found this knife there so she bought it for me as an early birthday present. I have a .22 wheel gun with American Flag grips in a glass display case back home and this will go perfect with it. This one wasn't all that expensive but I know some (which are much better quality) can go for some big $$$.??

Never been there but I own a few of the Spyderco sharpening sets. I really only need one but my wife doesn’t seem to know what it is so she always puts them somewhere I can never find it. So I buy a new one and then she says you already have two those and why did you get another one.. ? Of course I asked and you didn’t know what I was talking about… ? So now I have spares.

Been using them for decades. Great product!!

This darn truck always seems to impress me every time I drive it. Now I filled up in Flagstaff and averaged 75 mph and at times 85 mph and got 26.7 mpg! I've recalculated the fuel adjustment a while back so it's very close and this is through a lot of different elevation changes where 6,000"-7,000' were average.

After I added the receipt to my Fuelly app it came out to 26.5 mpg. Still great mpg for this truck and the elevation changes and speeds.

Packing up here in Durango and headed to Salida, CO tonight. Will stop along the way at Cascade Falls in Ouray which was recommended by @SkyLord. Looks like a cool waterfall and a short (.4 miles) hike to get to it so my patient should be able to make it. lol

Her birthday is Friday and I asked her if she wanted either some crutches or a walker for it. :lipssealed::bandit: Good thing she has a sense on humor or I might have been beaten with those crutches.:whew:

Might wanna be careful Dave. Beaten with crutches is one thing, getting left in Canon City, or even worse, CO SPRINGS, is another ?

So when you gracing all the Ranger owners in Denver with your vast collection of tailgate dampers?

What a great drive over here to Salida, CO today. Mark @txquailguy suggested taking the back route instead of the highway and he was 100% with this!!:like: We went 550 all the way up to Montrose, CO then hit 50 east into Salida.

We did get to stop at Cascade Falls which was another great suggestion from @SkyLord. It's right in downtown Ouray off a little dead end dirt rd. There's a small .4 mile hike up to it so Annie took it slow and she made it like a trooper. There's so much beautiful scenery out here in CO I could've spent the whole month out here. The weather so far has been as perfect as you can get with 50* temps at night and low/mid 80's during the day. Much better than the 110 it is right now back in AZ.

Here's how small the town of Silverton is as we come down into it from 550.

Next is coming up to the small town of Ouray. There's a lookout right at the top of the hill before coming into downtown.

Here's a house on the way up to Cascade Falls. As we were driving up there were 3 deer feeding right on the front lawn. I use to love having them come down from the hill into my back yard back east. ?

Awesome pictures Dave. Brings back many memories of trips thru Colorado in my past.
Thanks Guys and I'm glad you and everyone are enjoying them as much as we are seeing them. Colorado is such a great state I'm jealous of all of you who live here. Well except for in the wintertime. lol ?
