They're so old they can stand up by themselves in the corner. lol
This is probably getting way off the tangent, but I think many members can relate to it.
I used to buy work clothing and underwear from Sears during the '70-80's here in Honolulu and distinctly recall using a particular entrance into the store in which, upon entering, one was greeted by the odd scent combination of roasting cashews and Allstate tires.
Sears was, and probably will be the only department store where you could buy underwear for yourself, a Craftsman torque wrench you've been saving up for, flowers for your sweetheart, a new garden hose for your Mother, and watch the last few innings of a Dodgers game.
Memories...

...and you could order a house through the catalog.

I am 22, my first Ford is my 21' Ranger. I learned to drive in a 05' Suburban and my grandpa's 1988 f-250. I just purchased the f-250 a few months ago to over-hall it a bit and breath some life back into her

The first Ford I purchased myself was a 2010 Escape.

I learned to drive in multiple vehicles,

1949 Ford F1 pickup purchased new by my great grandmother and restored by my father.

1979 Camaro Berlinetta

1986 Subaru Gl wagon

And a 90's vintage Chevy Lumina minivan.

My Ranger is a '20

61 yrs old.
Learned to drive on Daddy's '69 Ford Pickup in the hay fields.
First Ford was an 80's model Bronco II. Freaking lemon, unfortunately but I thought it was cool at the time. Replaced 2 drivshafts in it before trading out of it.

My first Ford was a 1969 Capri ( UK import) sorry I ever sold it. I learned to drive in a Rambler Classic station wagon with the 290 V8 belonging to my father.

72 years old. Learned to drive, and got my "restricted" at age 14 in my dad's 1960 Chevy Impala Stationwagon.
Had saved money from lawn mowing and paper routes, and in 1964 bought my first car, a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint, 260 V-8, 4 barrel, 4 speed, dual exhaust, from factory.
Dad had to co-sign as I was still under age, but paid cash for it. No Mustangs were available as they were all spoken for, for at least several months.
Kept it until I went into Navy in 1967.
Have probably owned 50 or so vehicles since then...bought till I tired of it and sold, bought something else to play with. Kept some for a few months, others for several years.
Current...2021 Ranger Lariat and 2018 Subaru Outback Touring.
Dont you wish you still had that Falcon! I've never seen one like your. Always 6 cyl. My friends dad had the Falcon body Ranchero with 289 and 4 on the floor. Wish I had it.

Hey yall, this is a fun thread, thanks to whoever started it!

I'm 24 years old and I learned to drive in my mom's Toyota Sienna van! My first official car after getting my license was a teeny little Kia Forte. Had a 2010 Jeep Patriot after that which was unreliable junk.

I knew I wanted a Ford truck one day after having the opportunity to drive three different F-150s, all belonging to fathers of various friends of mine... My 2021 Ranger XL supercab is my first Ford & I hope to drive it as long as she lasts. With the awesome experience I've had so far, it's difficult to see myself getting something other than a Ford truck when I'm older. Maybe when I have kids one day I'll upgrade to a future generation SuperCrew Ranger.

It seems like I'm on the younger side on this forum, so I'm hoping I can pick up some good life advice & car advice from some of you older folks!
Maintenance, maintenance and more maintenance then she should go a long time..Enjoy it
