Added a "Dee Zee Tailgate Damper" today. The only reason I did this is I want one of the official Dee Zee T Shirts from Dave! Where is it at Dave, I checked my mailbox and did not see it....

those are whats on my raptor. i think youll like them. fairly quiet for an aggressive mt. and balance out surprisingly well. mine have gotten a little louder over time but nothing annoying. and ive developed a timy amount of vibration at freeway speed. probably time to rebalance but trying to put stuff like that off hopeing my ranger will get here someday.

I am doing my best to talk myself out of the Decked system. I've made a lot of choices around not having them and it would take a lot of work to get my setup to include them (not to mention... money). That being said, its working less and less the more I see them. Keeping crap safe, but out of the cab is huge. ugh.
I just don't want to lose my pickup bed.

I get that. I haven't done anything with my truck that I couldn't do with the Decked. I carry a full sized propane tank for my camp fire pit (we're basically under a permanent fire ban) and my tent is (almost) under the roofline on my rack. I couldn't be able to fit the propane tank under the tent with the Decked.

Installed the WeatherTech passenger side window deflector and it went smoothly except the clips were difficult to install. But the driver side was problematic, and it broke even though I was careful in the process. Called WeatherTech and they said it happens but not very often. Probably a defect in manufacturing which is understandable.

I bought them from CARiD and they will send a replacement for no charge which is standard. I was disappointed at their slow replacement policy. 3-5 business days to approve the claim and shipped when approved. I figure it will arrive in 9-11 days at that rate. Some sellers have shipped replacements to me the same or next day and even a few have expedited the shipping.
