Finished the spring clay bar and waxing. Starting to get it detailed for the Ford Nationals show field in Carlisle, PA in a few weeks. When I get there I'll just need to wash it and hit it with some spray wax. And wax the wheels. And shine the tires. And wipe the inside. And clean the glass. And Back To Black the trim.... You can never be too clean.

Make sure you change your blinker fluid next. That's good for an additional 25 hp.

I am doing my best to talk myself out of the Decked system. I've made a lot of choices around not having them and it would take a lot of work to get my setup to include them (not to mention... money). That being said, its working less and less the more I see them. Keeping crap safe, but out of the cab is huge. ugh.

It’s been too long since I did not a true DIY mod, being busy with home construction.

I was not happy with the poor result of the catch can. It was catching water only, due to the hot location over the turbo/exhaust and near to the coolant expansion tank. The oil smelly water would probably condense well while the catch can was cold, but that’s it.

So, I’ve done some welding and soldering and oil rated hose in order to reroute it to a cooler location while trying to maintain an OEM-is look. Now, it sits in between the headlight and the grille, still pretty close to the air hose coming out of the turbo, but there’s no other place to fit it. The small 2.2 diesel is a huge engine.
