I'm 6'1" and use them. Keeps me from crushing the edge of the seat getting in and bumping the headlight switch. No problem ducking down. Mainly got them for the wife but have gotten used to using them.

Thanks for sharing the pic. Was curious what running boards looked like installed on the Scab (not the Screw). I def need them cuz after 2.5 level it's awkward maneuvering into vehicle at 5ft 8". Also good idea to save the edge of seat bolster cushion like you mentioned

Use mine all the time (levelled and taller tires). Great for washing the roof and windshield.

Also comes in handy for this….

Yeah, my wife and her family is quite short and needs them. I sometimes use them when my knees are hurting. But my dogs use them to get in and out.

Don't have any because of the FX4 package, but I'm thinking about adding them to help the seats last a little longer. I'd prefer a rock slider/side step combo but proper sliders are pretty damn expensive and rock crawler quality protection is not a huge priority right now.

My dad's Platinum F150 has the power running boards that extend with the doors open and I always use them getting in and out. It's a much bigger step up though.

What does that mean?
My truck did not come with running boards. Could be wrong but I assumed the FX4 package specifically does not include them for ground clearance.

My Dad has them on his FX4 (but they were also a dealer installation before he bought it) and I can't stand them getting into and out of his truck because it feels like I'm going to smack my head into the roofline. (Which I do sometimes). So I probably won't have them on my truck. And as is, I don't think he even uses them, being 6 foot tall.

running boards are a totally separate option that can be included with any build. I think the Tremor is the only one that includes steps as part of a package (so far, anyway).

my truck came with them, but they were an included option on the particular truck I bought.

They came on my Fx4 - I never used them, but my wife did. But stock tends to be too high and too small to be comfortable for her to use.
Then I installed AMP power steps - Bigger and lower. And I installed the up/down switch, so whenever I am alone I can keep them from deploying and having to step over.
And truck looks much better IMHO with them tucked up.
And the wife loves them - only upgrade she ever appreciated on my truck!

I have done nothing but clean mine , have yet to step on it, I actually was going to take them off but it appears like they may help with door dings, which I should NEVER get because I go out of my freaking way to park in isolation, but still somehow attract sidelers ...
