Hey there fellow Tremor owners,

noticing about a 1" sag in the rear with all my overlanding gear (e.g. tent, slides, fridge, dual battery, awnings, camping gear, recovery gear, solar etc.) loaded on the back. Anyone tackle a solution for same , such as upgrading rear springs, lift blocks etc. and can recommend a particular solution they have experience with. I am considering Icon Multi rate leaf but don't know much about the tremor springs and don't want to end up changing like for like.
Any help is appreciated

OME's rear leafs are probably in your future.

You can sell your Tremor leafs.

With all your gear , and if you keep a lot of your load out in the vehicle your going to want a constant load spring kit like OME. Ive been looking into them as i start to add constant load weight. My Taco buddy did a full OME kit after adding his decked, and loading it up with 200lbs. And now he is slowly building up.

I have the ICON leaf package, and it is great with all the added weight. I have around 400 to 600 lbs extra weight on the truck. I started with option 3 thinking with all that weight it is what I would need, but it was too high even with the extra weight. I drove it for awhile to let it settle, but the back end was up about 1.5 inches. I switched the 2 leafs, and went with option 2. Now it is perfectly level with around 2.5 lift in the front with Fox 2.5's.

I'd take the tent off when not using it.

There are many things you can do to lift the rear. Springs, spacers, shackles, it's all available. Try searching the suspension sub forum. These questions have been answered multiple times here.

This new "pimp my truck" trend is ridiculously silly.

Thanks the tent is usually on spring, summer and fall. The truck is primarily an overland rig not a mall crawler so we typically try to get out and explore every weekend or opportunity our careers allow.

I've had 600 pounds in the rear of mine weigh almost no sag. How much does all your gear weigh?

Have you done anything with your springs yet?

I will have about 600 pounds full time once my tent shows up later this month. I am currently around 450 and sagging more than I would like in the back. I spent too much time debating the 600 vs 1200 and decided on the 600 pound EL121R. ARB had a technical document I saw somewhere that recommended only taking into account weight that is continuously mounted to the vehicle. When I called ARB they recommended the 600 pound springs with the possible addition of air bags when loaded heavy. You can also add their add a leaf to get the same end result as the 1200's if it's not sufficient. I'm not really interested in the air bag route but I'm hoping that I'll be closer to factory unloaded height when I am fully loaded with the 600 pound springs. The springs are sitting on my garage floor and I'm hoping to get them installed by the end of the month.

Hey, still on the fence so have not pulled the trigger on icon or OME yet.
Interested to hear what the ride quality is like after you instal the 121 OME springs.

I use Air Lift air bags and Daystar cradles for carrying my overlanding/camping gear or tow my trailer

Stock leaf springs with King shocks so it rides nice around town, then I can air up for any weight as needed

Thanks will look into. Do you notice and change in ride (softer/harder ) with the Air Bags?

Bingo

If you upgrade from the standard to the 5000's then you can run with no pressure when you want, internal Jounce bumper built in. Standard you keep 5-10psi at all times. Sometimes I take the valve out completely and have a tiny K&N keychain I put on there for the airflow to keep dust out of the system, wouldn't even know it was there
