I'll at least give him credit for parking straight in the handicap spot.

Most 350's you see with handicap tags seem to park at 90 degree angles in the handicap spots because I guess their handicap is not knowing how to park.

And every last one of you reading this post damn well know you've seen it yourself what I am talking about. Don't even try and deny it.

91 thousand God damn dollars for a ford pickup ? ?‍♀

I know it's nice and all..... but God damn.
I know a guy who knows a guy (just kidding). A neighbor of mine just bought a Ram TRX. It was over a Hundred Thousand. It does have 702 hp which seems totally necessary LOL

as long as people still choose to do this, gas probably still isn't expensive enough, sadly.
You want gas to be higher? I can't believe anyone actually thinks this is a good thing. I guess you think that will "save the planet". What happens when gas too expensive for the majority of the world? We'll all be buying electric cars? What do you think generates most of the electricity in the US? Coal firing plants. All you're doing is going from one fossil fuel to another. I always laugh at people who for example buy a Prius because of the gas mileage. They make the engine in South America, then ship them to Japan where they are assembled and then shipped to the US. They burn more fuel before their ever cranked up then the owner could reduce by driving it a very very long time. But don't think that Prius owner doesn't look at you and think you're a jerk for driving that gas guzzling Ranger.

No worries really. Bet you haven’t noticed the price increases for electric that are coming. Why you might ask? Well the rare earth metals used to make them are coming in short supply already! Between wind power, auto manufacturing and other needs seems the supply is dwindling. The price of the stuff is 8X what it was last year. The carbon footprint to get it is more than the lifecycle of the use.

Dang. I'd have to be rich or that truck would have to be making me money before I'd spend $91K

I'm not sure how he swung it , not rich I don't think , certainly not based on his managerial skills ... ? He wouldn't even be allowed in the back seat of my supercab if that was the criteria...

One of my friends, just told me this afternoon, that his F150 Platinum would be delivered tomorrow. Now get this... It is a used 2021 (Ford program vehicle actually), with 3,100 miles on it. And he paid... $91,949!

someone missed the point.

the last thing I'd be driving to work every day for a 150mi/day commute would be anything that gets less than 30mpg.

sure, I'd want something reasonably comfortable if I'm sitting in it that much, so a random shitbox economy car wouldn't be my first preference, but to automatically assume that I'm making any reference to an electric car (150mi/day commuting in most electric cars would suck, too) is pretty disingenuous and screams to me that you're pushing an agenda. there are still plenty of gassers out there getting over 30mpg, and even a couple over 40.

bigger lesson, I think, is living that far away from work just sucks.

Is he the business owner? Maybe it's a big tax writeoff since he "uses it for work".
