Leaving work this morning around 5am and a deer clips me 2 minutes into my commute. Truck was just shy of being 4 months old. Hopefully the body shop can get parts. Amazingly there is no paint damage but I don't know if the bumper can be bent back into place. One of the dents on the quarter panel is right on the edge of the wheel well too.

All in all it looks like you fared pretty well. Living in a very deer, moose, bear, coyote, wolf, etc. heavy area, not often do I see such minimal damage from an animal. Just came out with some minor body damage, no functional problems, so you'll be able to keep driving it without issue while you wait for it to get fixed. My last run in with a deer it shattered my headlight and side marker, spider cracked my bumper, and ripped my wing mirror off. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much to fix and insurance covers it. But at least you can still drive around without issue, that's something.

Yes that's deer hair in the tire bead. I think the wheel actually took most of the hit.
I'm very grateful there wasn't more visible damage and thankfully it is drivable. The outermost parking sensor isn't working, along with the cruise and collision avoidance. Headed to the autobody shop today.

I feel for you and would hate the damage to my truck even more than I would the damage to my wallet. Your insurance should pay all but the deductible. I don't know about Jersey, but here in Georgia, hitting a deer is considered an incident and not an accident, and is covered by comprehensive insurance rather than collision insurance.

While any damage sucks, it looks like minimal damage to your truck. Hope you get it fixed soon.
