Ranger Girl,
Well, as far as I know, my Ranger is still sitting there at the rail yard. I think it got off the train last Wednesday. My sales guy at my local dealer said we are just waiting for them to load up 18-wheeler car carriers and drive a load up here to Austin. He said he has more than 10 trucks he ordered for customers waiting there. The guess was lack of truck drivers is the main issue causing the delays. He said it usually just takes a day or two to get them up here. I'm so tired of all this waiting. Ugh. You may get yours before I do.
Talked to my dealer, said a bunch of vehicle sitting in Kirby yard. Seems the trucks took an extended weekend. Said there were a bunch of trucks in yard loading up now. Hopefully yours will be coming your way shortly.

It's on the Order Track site that some of us have been using to see the nitty gritty details behind the order itself that Ford's tracking site does not tell us.

There's a module link that goes back to Ford, and you can search VIN #s there to find the status of modules. If it shows more than one module, it's likely been built or almost finished with in-production status.

If yours, like mine, shows just one module, if any, it's nowhere near finished.

Are you sure about that. Mine shows two. PCM and BCE and my build week isn't until May 16th. Tracker hasn't moved.

I saw this on a Facebook group. I hope they paid more attention to detail on mine then what happened here. The person did say the dealer ordered the correct panel and will replace it, but how did this make it past final inspection?

Gonna play devils advocate here. What if this is what was holding your truck from getting built/delivered ? Maybe they ran out of Lariat pieces?

Just put a screw driver in it to throw off the thieves.

Well I pick up my Ranger XLT Supercab Wednesday. First order September 2021, second order Dec 2021. Blend date March 31, delivered today April 18. I did get the price protection, the $1750.00 keep customers happy incentive, and 0.9% interest for 48 months from Ford finance.

So has anyone gotten any information on why they are holding shipments? Is it truly supply chain or is it chip shortages or part shortage I feel like someone has to know something I would imagine ford would not be stupid enough to show built without the vehicles being actually built. One thing I’ve noticed is that everyone who has awaiting shipment as their status it seems their modules show complete.

Well, I was expecting this and at 8:00 pm my latest Ford email arrived.

Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of April 15, 2022, and April 21, 2022, has been updated to between April 30, 2022, and May 6, 2022.

There's a post a few pages back with a note from Ford chat about rail delays. That seems to match the news about rail shipping delays across the country. My truck has shown as "shipped" for 3 days now but I still don't have rail info, so I suspect it has finally been put on a rail car but has yet to get pulled out of the yard.
