Speaking of BoF over there with their scheduling - just caught this for this week - could this be why those scheduled for this week (04/11) are still sitting as "In Production" on the trackers?

My blend date was 4/12 and it's "in production" but I do have module codes available.

Ordered October...five months later in Production, two days later in Built.

Mine went from ordered to in production in just two months but has now sat there on the tracker "in production" for a week now. And order track has stated there are now 11 vehicles similarly waiting. Not the news I wanted today.

Congrats!!!! Yours is that much closer to arriving ?

I understand. My order was placed on October 19 and confirmed on the 21st. My initial production week was 1/3; and then 2/14 and then finally 3/6. It was built on 3/9. Original shipment was to be between 3/30 and 4/5. And then it was to be delivered by 4/20 and then it was going to be shipped by 4/21. And this morning, it should be here within a week. Ford’s tracker indicated nothing since the truck was built till this morning and now shows shipped. The process is not a positive experience.

I think you ordered at the height of their supplier issues and who knows what else (it sucks whatever it is). You had far more than your share of patience-breaking scheduling!

I sure hope you do get it in the next week, I need you to get it so that I can vicariously live through you and have some hope! =)

How do they decide who gets into that schedule. I ask because I ordered pretty basic xl supercab at the end of March, and am admittedly impatient haha. The dealer originally told me a couple months until I’d likely get it, but after reading here if I miss this production date and the shipping delays I get the feeling it might be longer. First time ordering a vehicle instead of buying off lot

I thought I would pass along a little info that I learned from chatting with an actual Ford employee. We all get upset with Ford when our vehicles are not shipping and think someone there has to know more, but in fact, outside of their internal order track they probably don't. Reason being is the minute it is released for shipping an independent contractor takes over. That contractor doesn't communicate with Ford except for uploading general tracking info. unless there is some major issue. So when Ford says there is nothing they can do most likely there isn't unless there is some major issue and it gets pushed through at contractor level.

I don’t see my experience was that bad, especially compared with those who ordered ‘21’s and had that order canceled, only to find themselves back in the waiting queue. I think it is getting better in terms of movement, but I believe Ford has to work on their “communication skills”, as one of my old HR managers said.

Hi all, I thought production was only supposed to be a week? My blend was 4/12/2022. According to the ford chat they said my vehicle is in production and an estimated end date for production being May 10! Yikes!!!

Same boat here waiting since October has been in production status since 4/6. Getting impatient

Agreed. Even if there was some sort of weekly email update that was empathetic to the wait, but shared the facts and helped you feel that you were not in a black hole and forgotten. The facts may not always seem to be 'friendly', but the facts will always be our friend.

I ordered mine on 02/12, scheduled for 04/04 and then bumped 04/11, with blend date of 04/13. No updates for me either!

Got delivery delayed. Ford chat says it's 12th-18th.
Course, we know what that means. I'll be lucky if I see it by the end of the month.


Really getting ready to walk away now. 8 months for a truck of this quality is hardly worth it.
And I actually don't have much interest in the ranger at this point.
