Thought I would start a different thread that might be fun!
My age is 67
My first Ford was a 1957 Ford Custom 300 that I got at 13 and 1/2 years old to drive around my grandparent's farm.
I learned to drive on a Farmall Super A tractor at age 10.
My 2022 Ranger XLT Tremor is still being shipped, so I hope to have it in by next week, fingers crossed!

How about y'all ???
I am almost 66.
My first FORD was a 1973 Ford F250 I bought from my Mom after my Dad died. Great truck.
I learned to drive in a 66' Pontiac Executive but could not afford a car so from age 16-17 I rode a 1972 Honda CB100 Motorcycle....rain or shine.
My current truck is a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor Lariat. I have had 6 Ford trucks....they were all great!
I am still waiting for my 2 door BRONCO order....it will be a 2 year wait this July. Sucks!

My age: 26
First Ford: 2008 Mustang Bullitt. It was a wedding gift from my Father-in-law. He bought a Saleen 475hp supercharger kit shortly after buying it and it's about to roll over 140k miles. It's a pretty ultimate sleeper with over 400hp to the wheels. Eats 392 Hemis for breakfast.
Learner car: 2005 Nissan Armada
Ranger: 2019 XLT w/ FX4. Nicknamed the Amphibian Transport Vehicle as my wife and I use it to get to her research field sites. It's been sitting at the dealer for 2 weeks after some engine knocking.

I am 50 (gasp, never thought I'd make it this long, lol).

My first Ford was a 78 Granada which I bought from my high school drug dealer. I paid $20 for it, because it had a blown motor, and I needed a home for the $50, 427 I bought to re-build as my Grade 10 1st semester auto-shop project.

I bought the Granada on Monday, finished the install Wednesday, and got graded Thursday for 93% in the class. I insured, registered and plated it Friday, then drove it out of the class and blew the tranny on the first burn-out.

I sold it "as is" for $200 and bought a 77SJ, which we rolled on Saturday, and it became my 2nd semester Gr 10 auto-shop project.

I learned to drive in a 78 Sunbird with a fully built 350.

I am 65. My first car was a 1967 Mustang. Acapulco Blue with white ( make that yellow ) interior. It had a 289 V8 & a 3 Speed on the floor. I paid $600 for it ( saved up all summer to put half down ). minimum wage was only a dollar an hour back in 1973. She was in pretty bad shape, so I got a good education on fixing cars. I learned to drive in my sisters 1960 Buick. That thing was a tank. I just bought my 6th Ranger 2 years ago. I have had an 84, 87, 98, 2003, 2004, & my 2019 that I drive now. I have enjoyed them all.

I will be 54 this year...I'm older now than I've ever been! ;D

I learned how to drive in a three speed Jeep CJ-5. My dad's favorite Jeep (he still talks about it sometimes)

In high school I drove my parent's 1978 Ford LTD Crown Vic, then their 84 Ford Escort 4 door, but the first one I owned was an 88 Ford Ranger- Red short bed, 4x4, 5 speed. Man, that was a great truck!

I'm currently driving a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 in Shadow Black. Probably the best vehicle that I've ever owned.

Hey
I'm 63
First car and first Ford 59, don't remember body, similar to a Farelane, but I Believe had 4 horizontal head lights
Learned to drive on a 71 Chevy Kingswood estate...A beast of a station wagon
Learned to drive or got my license in 1974
My main car for years was a 73 Pinto, dont know why the pinto is so bagged on, I loved that little piece of shit. We went camping with it, I delivered news papers in it, had to add a booster leaf spring to handle Sunday edition papers, also took trips in it. 150K miles when I sold it and it still used less than a quart between oil changes. Had the German 2.0, carried a spare timing belt under my seat, could change it in less than 15 min. LOL
Currently drive a black 2019 XLT Ranger Sport. Wasn't thrilled with the engine till I drove one. Have had 2 other eco boost motors, a 2.0 in a 2012 Edge and an 09 Flex Limited. That couch could fly!
Also had a 2011 F150 Coyote, had to trade it during some financial issues.
Was thinking on trading Ranger for a Maverick Hybrid, retired due to medical issues and looking to cut monthly costs, ordered the Maverick but it kept getting pushed out due to the supply chain issues so I cancelled the order. Think I'm keeping the Ranger, just love the truck...

Not necessarily in order...
54 years old..for a couple more months
First Ford was my second car, a baby blue 1984 Escort L with 4 speed manual
I learned to drive mostly between a 1974 Dodge Coronet with a 318 and 3-on-a-tree and a 1975 Datsun pickup truck with a 4 banger and 4 speed (with a clutch cable that kept breaking).

My current Ranger is a 2019 STX FX4 but it's my third Ranger and my sixth Ford (previously 84 escort, 84 EXP "HO", 89 Probe Gl, 94 Ranger XL 4x4, 98 Ranger XLT 4x4 "off road")

Edit: my first car was a 76 Corolla with a 3 speed auto that used to start in third gear, so you needed to shift it manually to get out of traffic's way!

I loved that car but.. I took at job that keep me living in motels and moving from place to place fairly often and the Triumph was too small to carry my clothes and tools so I purchased a AMC Javelin in 1969 set up as a AMX with the 390 in it. Both the Triumphs were a lot of fun to drive but too small when living "on the Road". The TR4 was my first new car bought from a dealer.
Hi Kent,

On my TR3 and my Austin Healy I had a sticker on the lightswitch...Off, flicker, Dim.

Best,
Phil
