Over the weekend, I finally received the "shipped" email from Ford, which makes sense from what I am reading in the forum about fewer emails from Ford. However, my truck had already shipped last Sunday (Apr 3rd), so it was a bit delayed. I had been watching the tracker and noticed no change until this past Friday when it went back to "awaiting shipment." I thought this was weird because it had already shipped. Mine is coming by rail car, so the only assumption I could make at this point was it was delivered to a rail yard and waiting for a truck for final delivery. I believe this was the case because by Sunday (4/10) the tracker showed "in transit" again. I assumed I had a couple more days to wait, but I actually received a text from my dealer earlier this morning that it had been delivered. Going this afternoon to pick it up!

I also learned from my dealer about current rates. I'm from East Tennessee, so maybe this applies to some of you. Hope it helps!

0% for 36
0.9% for 48
1.9% for 60 (listed on the main Ford website currently under incentives for Rangers)
3.9% for 72

Mine said 0.9 36 for my zip code. Told dealer I wanted 0.0% at 36 through FMC. That's what I got. Was surprised. Not sure if my score helped but it's 829. I also paid everything but 5056.00. They usually raise it way up for low balances. I was very happy with this Ohio dealer. Did everything they said they would.

So they based this on your credit score I'm assuming? I was surprised to be given the choice of 0.0% because I have never had a loan before, but my credit score is mid the 700s. I guess that could be why. I planned to have it paid off in about 2.5 years anyway because I am also trying to get my own place still and want to start saving for that without having to keep paying into the truck. I just assumed you weren't given that option unless you have previous experience of borrowing with them before, but that could also be my old way of thinking.

The rates are "area" specific. I just checked and it's 2.9% for 60 months in my area. I'm currently approved for 1.9% through a local credit union. So unless the F&I person can do better (which I doubt) I will be going thru the CU.
I knew they were area-specific, that is why I mentioned my location, i.e. East Tennessee. Just offering up what I had heard.

For us out of state buyers. Rates would be based on Dealer location or home state? Also my truck is 2 hours away from the dealership. I believe its sitting at the railyard holding area waiting for final transport to the dealership.

stoped at dealership and he check the web site and his weekly report. My truck has cleared the plant and is waiting on shipping. There are no flags on it that would hold it up. He assumes that it may have got buried in the lot and just not dug out yet and put on a truck. Was supposed to ship first week of April. So he is hoping it’s not much longer. He got a few in today and says he is seeing the shipping picking up.

So realistically if I were to order a ranger today how quickly would I actually get one? Really kicking myself for not getting a 4x4 and it seems like a great time to get out of my current ranger. Plus the ranger raptor may have officially outpriced me.

Appears to be about 15 weeks??? You may also might want to check soon on ordering, as someone here was told the Tremor package was no longer available to order?? Not confirmed, but believable as I'm sure FORD is winding down the 22s to get ready for the new 23s. Just my opinion.

I think 4-6 months os a realistic wait time right now. You might get lucky and get it earlier depending on options, parts constraints and shutdowns.

I would concur with Alex, but allow yourself to think 22 weeks for delivery.
And I thought I read somewhere (Ranger6G Forum/fordauthority.com) May 2023 would be beginning of actual production. I would think that would mean they will begin taking orders in January of 2023 for the model 2023 year. I would not be surprised if it did not or has not already moved forward in 2023 for Production to begin.

In the current state of supply chain woes, though, who knows? Maybe they won't be building anything new, just refurbishing and repurposing vintage Rangers

I'm also sitting in "Awaiting Shipment" purgatory. Built 3/25.

Starting to wonder if it's actually sitting waiting for chips and the tracker doesn't show it. Either way it's not going to make my delivery estimate of 4/12-4/18.
