I have found a used set for a great price. Doing research on them it doesn't say if it will work on a 2wd. I know on the non ford tuned Fox 2.0 it lists 2.5 lift 2wd and 2inch lift 4wd.

Stage3 is the only site I've found that says it'll work on a 2wd..ford performance site says will work on 4wd.

I believe it should work, just the lift amount is higher like you posted.
It's higher because the 2wd is lower in the front then the 4wd right? From measuring the front and rear of my ranger, 2.5 inch lift should almost be level.

Just got off the phone with the Ford performance tech line. According to him it is not made for the 2wd and will not work. The engineers designed it for the 4wd.

I call BS.

They probably just read the product description.

4WD is a tiny bit heavier than 2WD, but the Fox are soft anyways.

Maybe try reaching out to Fox directly.
Hahahaha that's Exactly what he did. He read out the part # and told me where to look on the page where it says 4wd. Then I questioned him why and that's when he said "the engineers designed it for 4wd not 2wd".

It works.
I have a 2 wheel drive an it does raise the front approx. 2 1/2 inches.

Just got off the phone with fox tech and the tech guy said I should be good to go. He can't think of any reason why it wouldn't fit.

How do you like them? Did you have to make any adjustments to get the 2.5? Was that enough to level it? The seller has a 4wd ranger, told me all he did was install them and did not make any adjustments to them.

No adjustments.
I like them a lot but 2.5 inches makes mine about .5 inches higher in the front. Should be 2 inches on a 4 wheel drive.

Buy the way, they do not recommend adjusting them. But hey :)

So it was .5 higher up front then the rear?

Being the 4wd is already higher that's why it's just a 2inch raise.. 2.5 should put a 2wd same as 4wd hight.

Yes

I wasn't aware of the difference when I bought them. Was going for the 2 inches.
Can't speak for a 4 wheel drive.

If you went for 2inches then that should have given you a bit of rake. Kinda odd that 2.5 inches had you higher then the rear. Was that after it settled? How did you adjust it?
measured the height on my ranger. The front is 2.75 inches lower then the rear.

A member who bought the ford performance fox fronts confirmed they fit 2WD cars. In fact I bought his very set to get put onto my 2WD truck when it arrives

Do you know if he had to make any adjustments? From what I've read these can't be adjusted on the truck and have to be taken back off. I also read the spring needs to be compressed to make the adjustments.
