Another sad day for the Ranger in an overall messed up week.

Lost another best friend today after messing up my knee skiing.

RIP Cricket

When we first rescued her in 2012, until today.?

Picked up some dirt for a gardening project. Two scoops from a skidsteer, maybe slightly less than a yards worth. Only had to go 3 miles on 25mph roads, but it was definitely overloaded. Would have been more careful about payload if I had to go any real distance. Not doing this every day. The ranger handled it!

This was over my 3 day weekend.

The Ranger went to the tag office and then to the probate court to pick up some forms.

Yesterday the Ranger went to my wife's Mom's grave. The wife made new flowers for it. No, those are not my burnout marks.

Then we went to her Dad's house to pick up some things that were loaned to my stepson, he came home from RAF Lakenheath in England in order to go up to the house he bought in NC 2 years ago and do a bunch of clean up/yard work so he can put it up for sale. The stuff he borrowed from us was still in the back of his F-150, which is being kept in his Grandfather's storage building while he's away. Yeah, it was a big convoluted mess.

Once we got back home, the truck got unloaded and received a much needed bath.

The truck now has a little over 2,500 miles on it. I got this truck in October of 2020, lol. No, I still don't get out much.

Front end was a little light for sure, but I was really just easing it a few miles down the street. It was unintentional, I even made a thread about measuring squat to estimate max payload and ended up just dropping it to the bump stops by accident haha. Tough little truck.

i did the same moving a safe with my older ranger. I had a bigger truck that would not have broke a sweat but i couldnt get the thing up that high. the ranger bed on the 4g sat lower so in it went. im sure it was way over the rated load for the bed but truck did great.

That looks familiar...

It'll do a cubic yard, but I wouldn't do it often or long distance.

I've been feeling a bit down lately, but the laboratory did not agree and they said that I'm very positive instead. I called the doctor and complained that I don't want to be a positive member of society and can he prescribe anything for it?

So he wrote me some codeine and instructed me to stay away from people and maybe in 5-10 days I'll get back into the negative department.

And then the ranger took my coughing, slime emitting, ever positive self to apothecary to collect the pills. Pills say no driving so I'll prolly just sit on the sofa for rest of the week and leave the ranger be.

P.S. Yes, indeed, certified covid-19 positive.
