Thanks again for placing your 2022 Ranger XL order. While we’ve been busy working to get your new vehicle into production, we’ve run into a few delays.

Sometimes certain features or options can lengthen the time before a vehicle is scheduled for production.

We know there’s a lot of anticipation when it comes to getting into a new vehicle, so we’ll make sure to keep you updated. Once your vehicle is ready to move into the production schedule, you’ll be hearing from us again.

Same for me. Hope that doesn’t mean wait for the 2023!

I got one of those three weeks ago. I haven’t heard anything since then. Hopefully it will start moving forward soon.

Anyone else get these along the way while they were waiting?

I placed my order originally on September 3 wasn’t notified until October 28 that it was canceled by Ford. Reordered that day . Waited for email nothing until I went in and said Confirm my email. That was December 8th got the email that afternoon and order was confirmed November 8. Nothing until February 17 that scheduled to to built on 3/28. On March 11 received email saying build date had moved up to 3/14. On 3/14 received email saying build date has moved to 4/4. So I’ve been waiting for a lot longer than most of you. I guess all the years of smoking weed has mellowed me out as IT will get here when it gets here.

The Ford tracking site finally matched the Order Track site. But yes, shipping is the waiting game I'm sure I'll be waiting on.

Mine was bumped from 04/04 to 04/11 back in February. Fingers crossed yours isn't further delayed!

Great news! Your 2022 Ranger LARIAT Super Cab has been built. We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment.

Our current estimate for delivery to Ford, Inc. is between April 13, 2022 and April 19, 2022.

I am currently at 1 month and 1 day and my built Ranger Tremor is still just sitting at MAP not shipped. The bumper to bumper warranty on my lease extended 19 ends in 5 days. Nobody has any answers. It could ship next week or sit for another 6 months. So frustrating and people that have been built after me already have their trucks.

Understand your frustration. I ordered Nov 2 and have never received an email on status of truck. I have called Ford to get VIN and production date of April 11. Since then received nothing. I called this morning and the date has been pushed back to April 15th. At least it was only a few days. Hopefully my wait after build is not the same experience as yours.

I feel your pain. This is crazy. I called Ford Customer care and still can’t get a answer. They told me to check with dealership or call them back next week.

Kudos to you for your patience! I guess I expect the wait, but the email is unclear, and there seems to be conflicting information. I am being told that my order, is 'unscheduled - clean' and that means no commodity or supply issues to be able to schedule.

I mean, I get that the supply situation changes just about every day, and there are 35+ suppliers, so it may be impossible to track what the current shortage is that restricts build. Even more frustrating that dealers seem to have no visibility or updates to what the major shortages are causing the delay.

Maybe it is that they are trying to catch up on Broncos builds and have pushed Rangers to secondary.

Just spoke to my dealer. He told me that they manage priorities based on order placement, which means they bump the order up a slot with every new order that comes in. I am currently at 19, and if someone else would come in and order another Ranger SuperCab, they would move me to Priority Code 18 and the new order would then have a Priority Code of 19.

He also told me that they have been told that SuperCabs and CrewCabs are 'independent' from each other for scheduling. Not sure if that is actually true, but he said that is why it may take longer to get SuperCabs scheduled, meaning Ford may not schedule until they have a certain number of SuperCabs for a production run. Not sure that I buy that, but I guess it could be true based on some the differences between the two cabs and all the related items that would be different as well - from rear seats (and headrests) to Window switched to actual cabs and everything in between.
