What car/truck are you replacing with the new Ranger?

We are replacing a 2014 Ford Explorer Limited with the naturally aspirated 6 and the upgraded seats and tech. The Explorer was our first Ford, and we were very happy with the whole experience: the company through the dealer did absolutely everything for us that they promised, which means a lot. We bought all of the insurances offered, and when the car did have trouble, they did not bring out the fine print to try to say this or that was not covered, but took care of everything at no cost and even paid for the car rentals during the waiting. The Explorer 2014 has good power, comfortable seats, superior headroom (I am six foot three inches), decent music system, lots of room to store stuff, smooth highway ride, etc.; on the downside, the mileage is miserable (I averaged 17.8), road clearance is inadequate (the front-end overhang even gets caught up in parking lots), and, with its limited off-road capacity, we never really felt safe in stormy weather, icy conditions, etc. The well-loaded Lariat off-road 4x4 Super-crew with B/O sound we ordered will have a bit less storage inside but is otherwise a move up in all respects, especially in terms of power, off-road capacity, road clearance, mileage, and music. Looking forward to our August delivery date!!!

Me, I'm replacing the 2005 Acura RSX gas saver I got when I came back from Korea. Quickly learned cars are just too damned small for me! Thing got 29 MPGs though. Gonna miss that.

No trade just added, replaced my 2006 Dodge Dakota 4X4 V8, with the 2019 Ford Ranger 4X4 V4, the ol Dodge is a little rusty on the box, trany needs selinoid pac replaced, Ill use it for dirty work, and use the Ranger for pretty stuff

Had a 1997 Ford F159 lariat last 19 years ! It died in 2017. I saw the Ranger was coming so I got a used Ford F-150 as a hold truck.

Trading off my 2016 Subaru Outback. Love the car, but wanted to be back in a truck. And when I made the decision, my wife still had her 2016 Outback...then she decided she wanted a new Subaru Legacy. So she got her new Legacy the day after I ordered my truck.

Traded in my 2015 BMW 328i for the Ranger. I had a 2006 Ranger before but the engine died and I somehow landed on a BMW. Needless to say, I was planning on getting the Ranger when it came back out. Now I have more features than my BMW did

Replaced a 2004 Ranger 4x4 Edge that served me very well for 10yrs with only normal maintenance needed. One of the primary reasons I stuck with anothe Ranger!!

Haven't decided between the STX F150 with the 5.0 or Ranger Lariat yet since they are priced the same. I'm currently driving a 07 Mustang and live in the city so I'm thinking the Ranger for parking.
