Where did you end up ordering from? Ford Parts or Accessories? I happened to order mine directly from the Accessories website. Actually, I never knew Ford sold these until I checked the accessories site
Got that right. Tried to use it on my 06 Ranger few years back to stop a small radiator leak before I could get it replaced. That stuff ended up sealing off my water pump as I'm on a major highway doing 80mph. Got lucky I was able to limp back home without any major damage.
Tbh I'm not entirely sure. I don't have the black appearance package but I saw these on Ford's Accessories website. They come as a set for $129.99 + tax.
The back is super easy to replace. Pop out the blue bezel with a small flathead above camera, unbolt the two 7mm, unplug camera and bracket...
Well last year some idiot decided to smack their door into my running boards and even though powdercoated, they started to rust from the damage. Well nothing bedliner can't fix. While I was at it, I decided to bedline my frame rails.
I had the tow package added on mine after not coming with it factory. My dealer didn't mention any fuses on the write up for the work/labor done. My only parts were hitch, 4/7 wire harness and adapter. They definitely would've charged me if new fuses were installed.
Update: So apparently the Ford body shop has to dismantle my door panel, remove mirror, and window molding to replace the vinyl decal. For both front doors to be replaced, $407 including tax and about 3hrs worth of labor. Of course I caved in since I don't trust myself to do it. Should've put...
So if I go ahead and replace it, any tips or suggestions if I diy. I'd rather not take it to the dealer again. The decal looks pretty straightforward as its all notched out so placement should be pretty easy. I guess the hardest part would be taking the window gasket off and putting back let...
That was my initial thoughts. I'm going to give it a shot before replacing. Worse case, I can have the dealer attempt something when the drivers side gets done Thursday. I do have the decal for the passengers side but it doesn't seem that sticky at the edges so it might not be good to use.
I was thinking about doing the same thing. Being 15mins or so from IBSP is nice but then I realize beach traffic and other idiots on the beach that don't know how to drive. I want the pass for fishing especially after hours when the crowd dies down. I can't stand the traffic going over to...
I like the look of the blackout between the windows especiallywith the tint. I thought about that but my drivers side (thats already getting replaced this week), is scratched under the paint so no deal for me. The pictures might not show it, but the passenger decal is not scratched or ripped...
So I installed the Ford branded rainguards. They flat out sucked and were not molded right. It messed up my B Post Decals. I have a bubble/stretch mark on the passengers side due to the guard pushing on the vinyl decal. Is this something that can be fixed with some heat or does it need total...
I'd like to get them but I'm wondering what Ford would cost to replace the vinyl B Pillar. The vinyl part is $15 from Ford. I'd do it myself but I'm not sure the difficulty or ease of replacing.
Maybe my truck is cursed but this will now he the 3rd time I've had to take these things off and retape. The first set was the official licensed Ford ones which were definitely not molded properly. They ended up ripping the vinyl B pillar post applique. I got AVS hoping these would work better...
Not sure if anyone is curious as well but I wonder if us non tremor owners can add the switch panel instead of the useless dash tray? From the pictures it looks to be the same spot and size. Probably just a few wires to connect and all good?
