I got some random brand from amazon for $170. Had to make my own brackets and use my own hardware but its solid!

Edit: this required drilling into my bed in several places! Cheap amazon cover = permanent holes.

I went with the Rough Country soft trifold tonneau ($270 free shipping). Only had it on about a week and a half so far but I like it.
If I hadn't got the ford sport bar, I would have gotten a trifold. I've had them on my last 2 trucks and they are easy to use.

I think this the way I'm probably leaning. How close to flush does it sit with the top of the bed?

I used the Gator SRX Tri-fold soft cover. I think it's made by another manufacturer that I forget, but it's easy to install and remove if you want to use the full bed. With it in place you lose the front third, but it removes in 2 minutes.

It doesn’t sit flush it sits on top of the bed rails all around. It’s less than an inch thick though, still looks nice and tidy plus you don’t lose any additional depth underneath. I can take some photos tomorrow if you want.

In addition to manufacturing aluminum truck caps, we have a retail store and sell truck accessories. The Extang Trifecta 2.0 tri-fold solft tonneau is our best seller. We like to sell products that have a good track record being trouble free and the Trifecta 2.0 fits the bill. I put one on my Ranger. I got their Signature series though since I like the rag-top type fabric instead of the standard marine type vinyl.

I went with the Tonno pro lo roll soft roll up. It's 279.00 on amazon. It rolls up out of the way for access the bed. I had no problem rolling it up in winter, and recovering the bed in below freezing weather. Its made by the same company that makes Truxedo.

Have this as well. Works well, fits Ok. No leaks except both sides of the tailgate but that's universal.

I debated heavily but ended up going with the Truxedo Truxport (https://truxedo.com/truxport).

It took me about an hour to install and is 99+% waterproof. It’s aggressive looking rather than hidden and sleek. I think in a perfect world I’d prefer sleek, but I’m happy with it so far.

I also put in the rough country bed mat, and I’m very pleased with this combo. I can put anything in the enclosed bed and it doesn’t slide around.
