I’m so new I’m still waiting on my truck to be built! Got the confirmation, waiting for the info to let me know it’s being assembled.
2022 Lariat SuperCrew Carbonized Grey 4x2.
I already feel this is going to be an addiction like my Harley so I can not wait to start mods and upgrades. Greetings from Windermere Fl and palm tree paradise!

Hi everyone - I've been reading this forum religiously ever since I ordered my Ranger at the end of December. My truck was supposedly built last week (blend date of Friday), so I figured it was time to make an account. I've got mud flaps, letter inserts, vinyl decals, Wolf Haus Off-road power for the bed, a tailgate damper (so I don't make noise while carrying a bow, my pack, and everything else when I'm out hunting, of course), etc. My wife keeps asking me if i'm ever going to get the truck or just keep buying shit for something I don't have, but I told her she doesn't understand how this stuff works.

I bought a Ranger because I wanted a mid-size truck that can fit on some of the trails that larger trucks can't and in my opinion it's the best one for what i'll be doing. I'm also pretty sure that if I pull a deer out of the back of my Ford Edge one more time the meat processor is going to kill me with strange looks. I've always wanted a truck and this will be my first. I've let the wife get the last couple of upgrades because she deserved it and then we wanted a nice and safe minivan for the kids. Now it's my turn for a purpose-built vehicle.

My long-term vision is to turn the truck into a hunting/camping vehicle that I can travel cross-country with for DIY Public land hunts. I appreciate all of the information shared on this site and I look forward to sharing my journey with all of you. Truck should be here by mid-April!

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the world of truck ownership. I found after my 1st truck when was a nube at Ford was so handy I have always had a truck in the garage since 1975. Your Ranger has a great heritage of being Ford Tough and I hope your vehicle will offer you the vision you have for usage!

Best,
Phil

After driving, hunting, camping, and using you truck for other truck stuff, you’ll never look back. Enjoy your first truck!

Retired for now!
I just did a deal on a 2022 Ford Ranger XLT Tremor in shadow black. Should be in soon, like next week! Trading in a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon that is as new. The Jeep is a wonderful vehicle as well, just way much more that I need. Plus, it is worth a lot right now, so I am getting $$$ back! Anyway, I am in Tennessee and retired (for now anyway) and 67 years old. Have always had Fords and will be happy to get back in one! Thanks for letting me join in with y'all :like:
