20+ years with GEICO, ticket and accident free. Two cars and the house. Just got a notification my rates went down by $86 on the Ranger for hitting 8000 days with them. Now pay $479 every six months. When I register up in Idaho this spring it should drop about 30% like it did with the F150. Much cheaper up there.
Yes, not bad in ID. Pay $484 for two vehicles every 6 months. Don't have bill handy but truck is something like $250 of that.

Time to shop your insurance.

Companies rely on you being too lazy to do so.

Loyalty gets you nothing in the legal gambling world.
I shop around every time but don't get anything better. I'm going to try rolling my mom's insurance into a family plan and see how that goes.

We have 3 vehicles with Erie. Two have full coverage; the 2003 only liability and comprehensive. We have "rate lock", so as long as we don't make any changes to our policy (sell a vehicle, change coverage) the yearly premium stays the same. Actually when I added the Ranger last year, my husband's insurance on his 2015 Sierra went down. I pay $449/year on the Ranger (full coverage; $500 collision deductible & $100 comprehensive deductible). We're both over 65, never had an accident. Husband doesn't put even 3000 miles on a year; my Ranger will be 1 year old end of April and I will most likely be under 4500 miles for the year. I don't think I've put 2500 miles on the Mountaineer this year. We rated though for 8,500 miles /year on each vehicle.

Mine is about $1200 a year with a small South Dakota based insurance company. There customer service is excellent. I have had a couple very minor liability incidents over the past 5 years, but nothing major.

Until the Californians ruin it. ? ? ?
I'm thinking about being one of the Washingtonians that ruin it. ???
ID, NV or AZ. can't quite decide. but you better bet I'll ruin it! ???

I'm not sure Californians can handle Northern Idaho. First week I was there and coming back from the Ace in town was a guy on a BMX bike with an AR15 on his back. Pretty sure the U-Haul would make a u-turn right there and then.

Sights like this might also give them pause.

I know it's inflation. I just wonder how across the board it is. I live in the middle of nowhere and even last year I was told "rates have gone up in your area". Going to shop around again but usually it's no better at other companies. Or change my deductible and then change it back after I get in a crash.

Since I bought the truck mine went from $278 to $374 to $439 and now $510 per 6 months. No accidents or tickets.
Nope. Mine actually just went down a bit

USAA insurance on two of my vehicles has gone down just a bit, the Grand Cherokee about $200. One went up about $30. Another about $20. Pretty steady on the rates over the past year or so.
USAA is great on the cars , but now the house coverage is going crazy , but homeowners insurance is ber zerk with all companies .
