It sticks to stuff (when properly prepped)just about as well as you would want .... I really wouldn't want a "better" version of it ....too good sometimes ...

2011 gmc serria ... Spare was never off , because of the design... Multiple flats , much anger... Would have been banned from the gmc forum if I had known about them then...

Actually called GM to give them hell after the first incident (and quickly saw this design was never going to work ) after some back and forth and me asking if that was really the best they could come up with I said " you guys would have been better off just throwing the damn spare in the bed !!!" She replied " but sir ,somebody would steal it ! " I said "at least somebody would get to use the damn thing cause I sure can t "..... never a GM again ....and look at Colorado , spare tire hangs down to the point of being comical... This be done right on this truck...

Why does my phone autocorrect some words....? That was supposed to say, "stayed on", not stayed off....
Some of my other body panels also have urethane adhesive, as well as 3M tape to hold it on
If you prep it like the directions say, you shouldn't have an issue, although, I've seen so many people say their parts have fallen off, but they "followed" the instructions perfectly...

had a "Tube " that you put the rod in through the bumper , tube was always out of alignment (dealer fix , then first pothole back to bad ) if you ever did manage to engage it ,the hoist was froze up or free spinning , even if you cut the cable from below , it had a saftey latch that kept it up there ...GM's own instructions on how to get it down are comical at best...

Cool! It goes over your existing one too. Directions are junk, I had to call Air Designs' installer and ask him if the old one came off or not.
