I have the DB HD on my Ranger, and about to add Front Runner track and cross bars. I also have a set of custom riser/crossbars made from 1x3 track, using the same feet as the FR bars. The customs are 13" high, to provide more usable space under them.
I'm considering how/what I will add to the under side for light duty storage. I'm thinking a wire mess basket type, the same size as the void between the cross braces, maybe 8"x30" or so. Simple hinge on the yellow strip, latch on the red stripe. Gloves, quad air line, hand cleaner, towels, etc.
