It all comes down to how you use your vehicle if a Ranger still makes economic sense during high fuel prices. I drive 8 miles round trip a day for work so not a huge deal. If I was commuting 50-100+ miles a day for work I would be daily driving a much higher MPG vehicle. I also generally drive around 10,000 miles in an average year. Once again if my needs were to drive 15,000+ miles a year I'd probably be looking for a higher MPG vehicle.
My 2019 XLT FX4 does pretty good on fuel for what it is. I know that I'll be taking a bit of a hit especially on the highway with the 2022 Tremor I ordered, but again with my use it won't be terrible.
