My Lariat Tremor was ordered with the 501A package,it better come with heated seats and everything else that was offered in that package,or i will most likely not accept delivery when it arrives and buy something else.

Not playing those games with Ford.Make it right on delivery or i will spend my money elsewhere
I have the XLT ordered, so the cloth seat heaters are not an issue for my personally. I would rather have the heated mirrors which DID NOT come on that trim. But if I had leather seats (ie Lariat) I would definitely be pissed if the heated seats were eliminated. I don't blame you one bit. Even though the heated seat thing doesn't really effect me, I'm trying to keep up and see what ELSE Ford is silently switching out or eliminating??
If they do eliminate your heated seats, find out if the heating element and wiring is still in the vehicle, and have the dealer/Ford install the chip once it becomes available, plus I'd have them reimburse you for the inconvenience of NOT getting what you ordered and SIGNED for on the contract. Just my two cents.

Woke up this morning and my XLT Tremor is "Delivered" according to the tracker. No word from the dealer if its actually in or not. Going to call at lunch just to see. Work wants to send me to South Korea in a couple of weeks (just for a week), so it would be nice to sign the paperwork and take ownership of it before I leave. That way it sits in my driveway rather than at the dealer. But we'll see how it goes.

I am too,but who knows at this point. Will go through mine with fine tooth when it gets delivered.

Probably fake news
What started this was the fact that FORD eliminated the heated seat option from their build your vehicle website. The heaters weren't even labeled in the standard Lariat package either. This caused people who just ordered theirs to check their order forms. Order forms stated heated seats, but then there was a question of was this just a typo on FORDS part?? This also happened right after the New Year/ January. So there was talk about the 22 options may have slightly changed?? I'm trying to ask and see if any new vehicle owners had any issues...so far no one seems to confirm any elimination of this or other options. There was in fact a new XLT that came with an ADDITIONAL option, heated mirror, on top of what the customer ordered (heated mirrors were not available in XLT, only Lariat).
As a customer who ordered an XLT with the 302A package that is supposed to have heated seats, I was curious if this was indeed the FACT.
Again, seems so far all ordered vehicles have come in with what the customer asked for. ;)
That's not to say FORD can or will change that as they go forward...
Someone also stated they ordered their Ranger without the ASS feature, which sounds like BS as I do believe that would be an option FORD would not want to eliminate as it gives them their carbon credit with the EPA, etc. ??

I had Auto Start/Stop removed from my order. That doesn't show on the Ford B&P site, only when the dealer is putting in the order. The option gives a $50 credit.

This was NOT an option when I placed my order with the dealer ??? :crying: I would have gladly opted out of it. Curious if anyone else here had that option to eliminate it as well?? With all the threads about people bypassing the ASS you would think more people who ordered the 22's would have stated they had the option to eliminate it?? Oh, well :frown:

I heard the nozzles require 1 chip/nozzle. They spray exactly 1000 +/- 0.1 uL with each spritz timed with an atomic clock level of accuracy.
I heard it wasn’t the chip but the sensor that measure’s the spritzing volume. Also don’t the Lariat’s have the 2000 +/- 0.2 ul nozzles?

I have no idea when they officially started offering it. My order was sent in on 2/7 though. I had seen an article stating Ford was making removal available so I requested it. It shows on my build sheet as "Auto Start/Stop Removal -$50". I believe I've seen a couple others option it as well, but it may be a fairly recent option.

Sounds like it. I ordered on 01/15/22, and it wasn't available. Interesting....? Glad you chose to opt out :like:

You should be able to make changes with your order up until you receive your Vin. If that's still the case have your dealer eliminate it from your order and get the credit.

I changed my order once since then (eliminated the spray in, and added tow). Figured it was better to have Ford put in the tow package than dealer tear apart rear end, and figured LineX in my area did a better and more detailed spray-in than the factory. Plus I just received my scheduled build/vin so it's a done deal going forward :like:
You and others here convinced me to jump in to the deep end. I'm done testing the waters ;) It's been slow at work last few days, so I've been living vicariously through R5G

I Think the order guide was updated on 1/17/2022 and offers the ASS Delete as a $50 deduct.
I last changed my order on 1/21/2022 and did the ASS delete
I thankfully have a VIN now and build date, no more changes for me.

Also my DORA shows JOB#2 line item on the order. I guess JOB#1 is when they first start production on a given model year and JOB#2 is when they change some options and modify what they are offering or building along the way??? I don't know for sure.
