I hear its easy once you drop the headliner.
May be time to pull down the headliner. It isn’t too bad. I pulled it down a bit to run the wire for my rear-facing dash cam. Over the middle part of the window is just held up by clips. Get you hand in there, a quick pull, and a few will release.
Lol, I was afraid that was the direction I might be heading in. I’m gonna lick my wounds and give myself a day or two to recover from this last fight…..then have a good, long look at what’s required to pull down the headliner.

As always, the feedback and input is truly appreciated. Thank you!

You can do it. The most important thing is to be in the right headspace. Definitely take the time to get there. You’ve got this!

Installed the tailgate letters and Truxedo bed cover today. I think I am done for a while…Unless someone has a better looking way to mount the front license plate! I would be all over that modification!
You'll never be done...mwoah...hah.hhhaaa...haaaa

Meanwhile, somewhere down in southwest Florida…..

There’s a relatively handsome, slightly older gentleman still standing in the bed of his truck.

He’s hunched over the back of the cab, yet again starting at the wires running from the factory CHMSL through the tiny, oval hole located along the bottom of the roof’s opening.

His fingers are raw, the skin torn up and mangled from repeated attempts to retrieve the wiring harness he knows resides somewhere just beyond the perimeter of that small, oblong opening.

He’s beyond crying at this point. The tears dried up hours ago, during one of his several prior meltdowns. His bloodshot eyes are distant, cold. Gone is the self pity, the pleading, the last glimmer of hope. In those eyes once filled with wonder and opportunity there now lurks an evil so dark and furious that an eerie silence has befallen his surroundings. Absent are the glorious morning sounds of daybreak rising over the Everglades….as if nature itself has been muted, paralyzed by fear and terrified to disturb the silence.

The man laughs to himself, a deep, sinister little chuckle as he returns to the task at hand. He has vowed to find and dislodge this wiring harness….even if it kills him.

Little does the world know; it is not his death that mankind should fear….but rather, the transformation currently underway. For true evil is opportunistic….and it has found a foothold in the small, momentary void that occurs when sanity takes leave and darkness is allowed in. Once rooted, it will fester and spread……and give rise to one of the greatest supervillains of all time…….

TLDR: this 3rd brake/bed light has finally kicked my ass. I’m calling it quits while I still can…..and before anything really bad happens.
Ok, if you’re not a writer… you need to be. I would read it!?

Is that the Truxedo Lo Pro? How was the install? It looks really good! I want a cover but cannot make up my mind. Did you consider any other covers...maybe the TruXport? Thanks!

There is a mod but its a little on the expensive side..move to a state that doesn't have that silly law
If I moved to another state, where would all my extra money be goi

It’s actually the Truxedo Pro X15. It was fairly easy to instal. Took a couple hours but wasn’t difficult. I will say the video on YouTube of the instal was quite different. I thought about other covers including the bac flip but ultimately went with this for the price. I can’t speak to the weatherproofing yet but I will say it looks great and feels like it made good seals.

As an Aussie who’s only ever seen snow a handful of times (and BESIDE the road), what, the f@#*?

How can it build up like that? Is it that cold it just freezes as it sprays up off the front wheels? I know I sound like an idiot, but that amazes me!

Coldest I’ve ever felt, in Switzerland, and that’s Celsius!

Hi Folks,

Temps dipped down to 23°F last night and today I got a low tire pressure warning on the right rear tire at 24 psi....other tires at 25 psi, so drug out the air hose and adjusted tires back to door label of 30 psi...

Best,
Phil

Hi Tracy,

Okay....this is the other formula for determine M...It is a pretty complicate formula...and not easily determined...

Here is my calculation...

emc2.jpg

So...is the Dvr/D>=0 correct value? ?

Pondering,
Phil
Depends on the Angle of the Dangle :)

I know there is a “what did you get” thread but I figured we could start a what did you do to your Ranger today thread because I have enjoyed them on other forums...

so I’ll start off with this...

I got some metallic gray vinyl off amazon to try and match the factory Magnetic gray so I could wrap some pieces on the interior. So for a little test I did the door trim below the window switches to see how i like it. I’m happy with how it turned out, it’s not a perfect match (little light) but I think it looks good and breaks up all the black on the door.

What do you guys think?

Looks great man! I was hanging out with the Mrs. at Hobby Lobby last weekend. I was bored after looking at car models so I ended up in the fabric section. Next thing you know I'm checking out the different colors of vinyl (I call it pleather). I have done some serious panel wrapping back in the day on a custom Blazer I had....I may do some wrapping in my Ranger if I can find the right color....you have given me inspiration....lol.
