it's just a piece of aluminum tape. like this: Buy Foil Tape (zoro.com).
any tape should work - i just liked this one out of the stuff i had in the garage.

Aha, you may be on to something...I'm 6'0", and hit, you're 6'4" and don't...we need a survey, my theory is there is a limit to the knee hitting the headlight sw, and if you are over it, your knee will graze the fresh air vent or turn signal, and not the light switch. height, seat retraction in inches, XL spreadsheet, algorithm, 3 equations, 2 unknowns, e to the x, log base 10, stuff like that.

6' 2 51/64'' and have never hit it.

Stupid expensive, right?! I upped my insurance to cover the cost of the replacement, when needed.

I assume it's expensive for someone, but I already had the glass coverage in my policy so it cost me $0 out of pocket with Safelite.

You're lucky. My insurance covers glass, but with the deductible. My deductible was $1500 and a windshield was $1800. I dropped my deductible to a much better rate. I usually like to carry a high deductible, but I won't anymore. For reference, my wife's Subaru was only $300 for a full replacement.

Put a wrist sweatband around it so it doesn’t mist on your engine, I was using a sock before another reader suggested the wrist sweatband ..

I just pulled the trigger on the CFM one today. I plan on running it and then install my catch can when the weather warms up.

They were a gift, but I believe they are the nilight two strip kit

Wound up doing a little hacking on the nilight wiring harness to make it work with the pigtail I got for power

Just got a quote from Safelite for our friends who are down from Alberta to escape the winter. On a new Ford Escape it is $1505.00!!!. They don’t have coverage up there to cover it.
