The Livernois tune is excellent. This Ranger is very quick now.

I ordered a bunch of little things over the past few days. I'll try to remember.

  • Door sill protectors
  • UPR Crankcase breather
  • 1" level from Ford Ranger Lifts (Debating cancelling and going Fox coilover instead)
  • LED bulbs
  • Oil change kit (Pennzoil Ultra Platinum)
  • Fumoto oil drain valve
  • Tail gate damper
  • Center cubby storage
  • Putco black Platinum Ranger tailgate inserts
  • RokBlokz XL mud flaps
  • OEM engine cover
Probably some other stuff. My wallet has faced death by a thousand cuts.

Very cool collection of mods! I vote for canceling the one-inch level from FRLifts and going Fox Coilover instead, even if that comes to one thousand and one cuts!

100% I am going that route instead.

PN 985-02-133 Fox2.0 Front Coilovers 0-3" lift

^ That should be the coilovers that I need based on Fox's catalog.

I've heard the sweet spot is 2", where the coilovers come set from the factory, so I'll be going that route.

I don't mind a bit of rake. I do tow my track car and motorcycles occasionally.

Door sill protection on. Mine already were scuffed on the driver's sill.

Absolutely love my '21 Tremor. If you're gonna use it as a daily driver like me, get a bed cover and some aftermarket wheels with highway tires. You'll get 25+ MPG's that way. I still have the factory A/T wheels so I can just swap 'em out if I need them. I am still waiting to get acquainted with mine on a trail, but there's some winter weather on the way, so we will see how it performs. Love the graphics you got.
2021 Lariat Tremor? Have yet to meet another Black Lariat Ranger Tremor. Only color they would sell here in Dallas at the time.

The truck already comes with 2.0s, why not save a bit more and go with the Fox 2.5s? Those at their factory settings leveled the truck out and now this thing is a beast off road. I assume youre only replacing the fronts to level, but just seems a waste to do that for the same performance (or worse/better, supposedly out 2.0s are different) just to level it out.

Agreed. I've been doing research trying to figure this out.

I saw last night that these trucks are already lifted 1.5-2" from the factory.

So a Fox 2.0 wouldn't make a huge difference.

I put the steps back on and used grip tape to cover the holes, plus allow them to be used as a step. I didn't like the bare look, and I might as well rock em.

I got it at Ace Hardware and it is advertised for boats, RVs, etc, so it should hold up great.
DANG! This looks tempting.

Thank you Ford accounting department for removing the engine cover.

It is actually thick high density foam and clearly was designed that way on purpose.

My Ford Ranger Lift's 1" Tremor spacer arrived. I'm in no rush to install it, if I ever install it at all. But at least I have it!

Morimoto side markers are on. Took me 30 seconds a side.

The factory orange is so out of place and ruins the metallic scheme. These are perfect and super bright when lit up.

Nice truck.
Watching your build. I just picked up a 22 Ranger Tremor on Sunday. I actually stumbled upon these trucks and grabbed one for $2000 under MSRP and they threw in a Linex bed liner. Truck was on the lot for 1 day and had 5 miles on it. I already ordered 1" lift, 1" wheel spacers and new Weathertech. I didnt like the upgraded version Ford provides.

I took the day off and went wheeling up in the North Georgia mountains. We've had a ton of storms, so I was mainly worried about trees being down blocking the trails. I brought a chain saw and straps, but sometimes you are SOL after a big storm and will have to turn around 2 hours in due to a downed tree. I got really lucky in that regard. There was a downed tree, a massive freaking tree, that was hovering about 7' off the ground. A Ram Power Wagon and a Gladiator both had to turn around. They were lifted on giant tires with roof top tents above both of their roofs. I felt bad because they were out of state obviously on a trip and it was maybe only 20 minutes into the start of the trail.

Hmm why are these two trucks stopped? I immediately thought, shit there is a tree down...

I didn't get out to take pictures of the really nasty section. There is about a 15 minute stretch at the very beginning, or for me today the end, of this trail that is difficult. With the storms it was very hairy. I actually had an adrenaline rush at one point because I was leaning over way too far for comfort. I had the wheels pointed and momentum set where it would be very hard to roll the truck, but it was uncomfortable.

The Ranger did a great job. Plenty of articulation. The rear end felt good. I love the Tremor's multi-leaf pack. The Fox shocks were great. I like how soft yet supple they are. This is a very bumpy trail and they did a great job.
