Anyone using the OBDLink EX? The card states on the back to turn ignition on. But videos on youtube show only turning the acc mode on, not actually starting the truck.
Correct, you turn the ignition on without starting the engine as part of the writing changes process.

I have a lighting-related thought/question...

I have my front amber parking lights set as my DRLs. Is there a code to enable the rear amber turn signals to light up as well, like a sort-of rear DRL? Just thinking outside the box.
I'm assuming you set your DRLs to be your Front turns and nothing else. If you instead enable the DRLs includes Parking Lamps, you will get all your parking lights including the taillights with DRLs. I run my fogs as DRLs and include the parking lights. I like it as I also get trailer lights when towing. It's a few rows down from the DRL Configuration.

That would definitely not be legal. The amber turns can't burn solid. If you enable the park light DRL function in Forscan the tail lights will be on any time the DRLs are on.

hello, My MY21 Tremor seems to have some potential changes. in addition to US style speed limit alerts, I am able to modify my climate utilizing the right steering wheel buttons.

I also have been able to configure my splash screen for startup and shutdown to always be the raptor logo.

See the "Lincoln Next" theme i've managed to make stick.

APIM set “Brand” to “Lincoln”
Write
Set “visual design variant” to “Lincoln timeless”.
write
After ignition on / off, exited truck and locked it to confirm reboot. Upon next entry I had raptor logo, timeless theme and raptor logo at shutdown. This has stuck for a few hours&stop/start cycles already.

Update: I think I can manually shift while in sport mode now? Accidentally hitting the button on my shifter caused gear indications to show up on my LEFT dash display wish is abnormal. (I always drive in sport) I will confirm tomorrow

I actually did almost exactly the same thing last night on my 21 Tremor. I chose the Ford Performance splash with the cobra, however. The Lincoln theme is SO much better than the blue stock theme imho.

I have always been able to shift manually with the buttons on the stick while in sport mode, however never seen the gear indicator on the left.

That's probably specific to the Lariat cluster, if that's not what you have. That's how mine is as well.

Hmm are these options configurable on MY21? I used FORScan to change things up on mine, never saw the options in any of my settings.

Mine is a 21 Lariat Tremor, so for me at least, yes.

Maybe I misunderstood what he was saying. In my Lariat Tremor I always see the gear display in the right hand screen of the cluster, on the left hand side of that screen. I read his post as saying it showed up in the left display.

I think I had read the original post incorrectly. I thought he had said he was able to select different splash screen and the Lincoln theme with the truck's built in configurable options, and without using FORScan at all. I guess that's what happens when you read threads on here at like 2 am when you should be sleeping ?

Yes the "normal" gear indicator is on the right screen. When you enter into manual shift in sport mode, it shows up on the left screen near the tach. I have never understood the reasoning why Ford decided the default for gear indication is off, until you hit +/- (which is the first thing I do on every drive). And why the normal indicator disappears in sport mode was also an odd decision. But I digress...

Thanks for teaching me something new! I have only had the truck a month and haven’t really needed to manual shift it. I was confusing the current gear/lockout display with the manual shift gear indicator.

I have a Lariat Tremor too. The gear display in the right screen only becomes visable when you hit the gear shift lever toggle once. It disappears when you put it into sport mode. When in sport mode and you and go into manual shift mode a single digit for the gear you are in shows up in the left side screen.
