If you can live with one vehicle it's not a bad time to upgrade, but be mindful that both used & new vehicles are at an all time high. Obviously you're aware of the wait times. If you can get a decent turn around & you're willing to let go of a vehicle now it could work out in your favor. You are hitting the reset button on a loan, but ford has really good financing now(as you noted).

Tough call!

What would be your F150 build?

It all depends if you need and want the F150? Since you've been driving the Ranger you have a feel for it so is it a good size for your needs or do you need something bigger with more room? I've always had F150's but now have no need for something that large so for me, the Ranger is perfect! If you could use more room then I'd say go for it that's a heck of a deal. Good luck and let us know what you do.

You’re clearing $9k over what you owe, but not what you‘ve got into the truck total - whatever that is. You’re almost certain to end up in a bigger hole financially if you go with a F150. If you like the Ranger, keep it.

i had a 2020 f150 xlt for a short time and honestly did not like it much. it felt super mushy and soft suspension wise. it also was under powered unless i was at just the right gear, speed and rpm. other wise it just gear hunted made lots of revs but didnt get going. i did not have any faith in it to pull out into fast traffic and be able to get out of the way. that was the base engine not the v8 or 3.5 eb. it honestly felt a lot like a four door economy car to drive, wearing a pickup truck disguise lol. the interior was nice and comfy. much better inside than the previous gen f150s. im not anti f150. many models and trims exist that id be happy to have. that said outside of raptor, king ranch or limited at a smoking bandit of a price, id keep the ranger.

I’m so tempted to trade my Ranger in for a Bronco. I love the new color they have for 2022.
My dad had a 1977 Bronco and I would love to have one of the new ones.

The problem is you'll get in line and have to wait years to get one and then the Eruption Green will no longer be available. This happened to many who wanted Antimatter Blue but it was only available in 2021 and now they're not to happy having to chose another color because of how long it's taking to produce these.

Just for reference I have a 10/14/20 reservation and I won't see mine until 2024. Only way to get one is find a dealer who has one from a customer cancelled order but be ready to pay a hefty dealer markup fo it.

OK, but that damper is going to look funny hanging off the back.

I guess it depends on the price of the 150. How high have they jacked the price up on those? $2.5K off what?
Pretty high but would be able to use the money to move up in car for less than what I’m paying now.

Dave might have an A-dapter kit to mount one on the outside spare tire carrier.
