I don't mean to make it a "mystery" incentive. Here are the terms:

$1000 - Ford Retail Order Bonus Cash Certificate
DETAILS:
Ford Retail Order Bonus Cash Certificate (#38150). Eligible buyers may receive Ford Retail Order Bonus Cash on select new vehicles. Incentive may be incompatible with certain finance types or other cash programs, based on individual program rules. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 09/30/21. Residency restrictions apply. See dealer for qualifications and complete details.
To me the "from dealer stock" is the key part. That is not for special orders, unless it was entered into their stock and delivered by that date. And would end on the listed date. I think of a retail order as the order the dealer places for resale once in stock, while a custom order is a customer order.

And to be clear, I'm not an order expert or anything, just trying to read it as I see it, but that from dealer stock in the terms makes it fairly locked IMO, but that other one that was found is very different in that the terms state to place the order before the date.
