So far so good. Had them on about a week and they drive straight down the road, they're quiet on the pavement and have handled the southern California storms and wet freeways with no problem. I liked the semi aggressive look and the white letters so I'm happy right now. Hopefully I can get 50k...
I'm also in the LA area. I drive from Long Beach to Chatsworth (50 miles each way) everyday during heavy traffic almost always (when isn't it!) I average right at 22 mpg. I do try to keep it at a reasonable speed and feather the throttle and avoid stop and go braking whenever possible...
I've got 40K miles and average 22+ mpg on the OG Hankook's. I'm in LA stop and go traffic for 100 miles daily. On open freeway under 75 mph I can avg. close to 30 mpg, driving style has a lot to do with how efficient this truck is. FYI it's a 2020 FX2 with a 2" level kit on the front and...
Do you all put fuel in the tank when you're still half full also? I follow the OLM recommendation and it's basically set at 10,000 miles. $59.00 works package at ford using Motorcrafts synthetic blend. Usually drop it off and pick it up in a couple hours.
Installed SS3 yellow sports. For highway use they are great and that's all I need them for. If your going to off road or some back country two track then you'd probably want something stronger but for me I'm totally happy.
Well for the thousands of us that have used these types of plugs for the last 40+ years and have had very little issues, I think he'll be fine especially since there is an active tpms to alert him if the repair is not satisfactory, at that point he can decide to take it to a shop.
I did exactly as stated above, I removed the front plastics and got underneath and reached up and did it by feel. I turned the wheels to make room on each side. Below are pics of what I did.

So everyone is commenting that they lost 1 or 2 mpg but what were you getting and what are you getting now? Average mpg's are going to very greatly across the board due to location, truck configuration and driving style! I'm in LA, drive 100 miles a day in stop and go freeway traffic and...
Did you like how the idrive functioned. My main gripe with my 2020 XLT is pulling out to pass on the freeway, I'll punch it and the truck will literally pause a few seconds before kicking in. It's actually kind of dangerous during rush hour!
Below is the link to the steps I installed. looking down out of the seat you see pretty much the entire surface which is about 4". Hope that helps
