Most car lots around here look like they have gone out business. Lots are pretty bare so it's good to see some inventory showing up.

I noticed my Ford dealer lot is half empty...next to their is a Dodge store and not one empty spot...

The Ford dealerships here are starting to get them and they're going as fast as they get them in, at least the lower-priced ones that are up to the mid 40s. My second trip to Georgia saw a lot more on their lots up there. And Georgia boys love their trucks! I haven't seen the other dealerships close to see what they're doing yet but everything still looks pretty empty except they have used vehicle sitting out front.

It is interesting what dealerships are doing. The dealer where I got my Ranger keeps all of their inventory sorted by model and price. That is all the F150s new and used are lined up by price as are the other models. When I got my Ranger they had two new Lariat Tremors and a new XLT FX4 plus 5 used Rangers. Their lot is full but most of the inventory is used.

The CDJR dealer where I got my wife's new Cherokee in April keeps all the new vehicles lined up at the street so you do not see how empty the lot is when you drive by. But a friend of mine is a tech at this dealership and he said they are currently receiving approximately 20 Grand Cherokee L and Wagoneers a week. He also said that the Wranglers, Gladiators, Chargers and Challengers they do recieve are sold before they arrive so they never sit on the lot.

The Chevy dealer on my way to work has more vehicles there for service than they have for sale.

Where I got my Ranger they have about 10 F150’s, some Super Duty’s and no Rangers. As soon as inventory is delivered it’s already gone.

Local dealer has 4 rangers, all lariat 4x4 crew cab, one fx4, one tremor. Basically list price, plus $2500 in dealer add ons for the tremor.
