After a quick thread cleanout with an 8MM tap I put 4 eye bolts in the missing tiedown holes to complement the ones in my redneck stopslider thingy. Then I swept out the box, tossed a set of bungee cords in there, and called it a day.

I have 2 of the eye bolts leftover, had to order 6 from Amazon. If anyone wants them they are free if you cover shipping. PM me.
Do you happen to have the Amazon link for those? Being lazy today...

I pulled the Ranger out of the garage and popped the Nationwide SmartMiles module into the port under the dash. Then I warmed the truck up and took it for a short drive in the neighborhood.

According to the instructions, now I gotta make a few trips during the next few days in order for it to to activate/show up on the website. If I don't, I will have the normal rates.

I barely drive the truck, darn it. Don't make me drive it and put miles that I wouldn't normally put on it. That was the whole point of getting the low mileage insurance, wasn't it? :p

I also checked under the hood to make sure I haven't had any meeses munching on the wiring. My fellow Ranger5G members are making me worry about that, lol.

That's it on the left.

No meeses. I guess the hawks keep the rodent population down around here.

The engine still looks almost spotless, like the rest of the truck. It's 14 months old and has just a little over 2,170 miles on it.

Todays first task done by 6am. Lets see if I get a chance to change the mirrors today also. Then maybe trial fit the grill to see how it looks in black, before I settle on the same grey as everything else.

Just got back my rig with a new slider, gives me a few days to enjoy before my RSI cap shows up and is installed.

however, the glass place had an issue getting the cap to the middle seatbelt back on. With the slider on it appears there isn’t enough room to slide it back between. They didn’t want to force it.

should I just let it hang out until I take it to Ford for Servicing or any ideas of a solution. I’m still in the parking lot so I’ll give it look at home tomorrow.

Oh, and they were able to save my old glass, so I guess I’ll be storing that incase shit hits the fan.

or maybe I can sell it so I can spend more money?

I'd better check mine. I have not even sat on the back seats...
Thank you

Took it in to 4 Wheel Parts to dial in my alignment.

Dealership did one back in September after my lift. Specs were alright. But the whole experience left me a little unconfident about their abilities.

Finally got it in today. Dudes at the local 4WP were much more knowledgeable. Got it setup much better I believe.

En route, finally got to test the Toyo Open Country AT3s in some snow. They did great in the slushy stuff, not so great on the icey stuff, as expected.

Took the decals off the bed. Might get a pinstripe later. Or not.
Bought a wheel off @AZRangerDood (thanks, Danny!)

Retired, work is a four letter word.
So I finally got around to getting the wiring on my new Cali Raised LED Sideshooter Ditch lights finished, had to wait for the connectors to come in. Just WOW! these things will blind you! For less that $150 I got both the ditch lights and the mounts, so I thought they would be cheap-o's, not even close. These are very well made and bright! Hooked up and working great on the 2nd channel of my $40 remote 4 ch switch. Just shows you don't need to over spend to get good products.

Got the Wildtrak mirrors fitted and fitted the grill in its factory gloss black. Now I don’t know what to do. I was sold on painting it the same grey as the mirrors, (incoming) fender vents and door handles. But on the truck, the black doesn’t look as out of place as I thought it would. I’ll leave it on for a week or two and see I guess, make a decision when the door handles and vents are on.

Anyone have any thoughts?

So that’s chrome tailights, mirrors and grill replaced today. Looks a bit better to me.

Can’t wait to see the end of the chrome handles and fender vents.

What I’m thinking grill wise, but same grey as mirrors.

Congratulations! It looks good. Why not wrapping or plastidipping the mirror covers and fender vents black? Not much of a fan of the wildtrak gray. I see a lot of those in my country and there’s nothing special about them anymore.

Im just over the normal back on white look. It’s been done to death and I want something different looking to our FX4. Not trying to look like a wildtrak either, just like the way the colour looks on a white truck.
