Thanks, sometimes the quality of the sound determines the choice of the programming.I test drove an XLT crewcab the other day with the base stereo system, and I was rather disappointed. It came across very flat and blah. I'm happy that I'm going to be getting the B&O system as I would be actively upset with the base system.
I have the standard sound system and it sounds pretty good to me. Did you check to see if the treble, midrange, and bass settings were way down? That would make a big difference.I test drove an XLT crewcab the other day with the base stereo system, and I was rather disappointed. It came across very flat and blah. I did not. I assumed that it was all at factory +0 settings as I was the first one to drive it (6mi and plastic still in the seating area that the dealer removed before I was able to drive it).I have the standard sound system and it sounds pretty good to me. wow that stinks! No, which pisses me off a bit.
I just watched a video of a guy switching from the 4.2" screen with sync to an 8" screen with sync3.wow that stinks!
HD was included with ordinary sync as far back a 2014 as far as I can tell, (just by checking YouTubeNo, which pisses me off a bit.
)AMAZING! Ford Marketing strikes out again.Looking at the parts lists it seems as if there are 2 Reciever assemblies for the Ranger one for a single tuner and one with a dual tuner. The price difference is nearly $100. I have a feeling the part of the difference is HD radio. bEcause none of the options in forScan I tried truned on HD radio for my reciever whish I know is the single tuner and likely what they install for the non-B&O 6-speaker systems.

What model and options did you get @FloydAMAZING! Ford Marketing strikes out again.
I simply do not understand why they would not advertise the content from bottom to top of the Ranger line. Maybe even a feature spread sheet.
I think it might actually help sell the "higher trim levels" when people saw a clear picture of the content with the features they want. It would also alleviate any disappointment or resentment from those with "higher expectations".
At least it would prevent most misunderstanding.
The result would be better for all involved.
