I installed my Mishimoto cold air intake last weekend. I had originally been planning to get a Roush CAI, but when I saw Mishimoto's I thought the design was much better. I have no other mods but plan to get a Ford Performance tune and exhaust next - this CAI was on sale, otherwise I probably would have gotten it after a tune or exhaust.
Butt dyno can't tell much difference, and honestly without any other mods I didn't expect any. I have been playing around with the Torque Pro app, and if I did my 0-60 correct I was seeing 7.7/7.8 times before on the stock box, and around 7.3/7.4 times with the Mishi installed. I may not have recorded it correctly so who knows if I'm really getting a performance bump.
I do have one question - should I disconnect my battery cable to reset the PCM and force it to relearn? I haven't done this and wasn't sure if it would make a difference.
Anyway, thought I'd take some before and after photos to compare the stock vs Mishi's.
