Do you have locking rear axles?

Fun times !!! I don’t think the jeep guy was being a dick, probably was going to help if you needed it and help keep the trail clear for others. I ain’t a jeep guy but I would have done the same and probably trying to give you light for backing up. Actually trail etiquette…
I'm sure Brandon didn't need the Jeep's headlights in his face while backing down a hill in the dark... The light was needed in the direction he was going, behind him.

Hahaha. I’m not thatttt wild :p it’ll be cool to see all our rangers out there though. We are thinking mid-December, a few are interested already. Going to figure out logistics a bit more and probably figure out a date! Whoever wants to attempt this can, or we can just watch people attempt it :)

Sort of what I was thinking Will but I’m not well versed with off-road etiquette. It was kind of annoying to have lights in my face.

Hahaha woah woah, it got stuck but succeeded in the end!! :p

But you are right it’s dirty as heck and I did give it a thought to give it a quick wash as I almost got home but was too tired ? and it was quite the lovely time, hope all is well Dave and haven’t been keeping up to date with any threads whatsoever but did you end up getting that sweet jeep?
There are times when we're off road and my truck looks like that and my OCD is saying wash it but my body is saying NO WAY! lol

I ordered a '22 and they don't start production until the first week of December. If everything goes as planned I should have it by March? Where have I heard that before?:crying: This time I actually don't care if it's a little later because our trip back is going to be through SD,MT,WY, and either CO or UT and it'lll be to cold (for me) in March.

Now get out there and wash your dirty truck! It's now starting to bother me. ? Since you've been gone I did just buy this here. Might be something you can add to help in your detailing process.:curse:?

That is exactly how I felt Dave ?

Wow that’s going to be an amazing trip, take lots of pictures my friend so we can see the beauty of your journey :) do you still have your bronco order in or cancelled it? That Jeep is going to be so sweet though!! Not too far off of a wait hopefully.

Haha, unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be washing it for a couple of weeks, probably around thanksgiving break :) oh man, that’s an instant add to the cart, the step is perfect for some hard to reach spots. I come back for a day or two and I’m already buying things. :p

bet it was even better once you got out of econo-drive ...?

Oh dear. That ranger has some major confidence ?

Surprisingly enough, D works better on washboards. S had too much spin/torque to keep grooving steadily. I don’t quite remember if I had S on when I tried the hill climb though.

I've been there...as a passenger in my daughter's Jeep ....it's in the Offroad training / playground near Salton Sea City...lot's of good sand wash and mud hill trails in that area..

Blow Sands is where my love of sand began..... my class 5/1600 Bug and my late 80's Ranger 2wd prerunner have made the Blow Sands loop....

For now I still have my Bronco order and will keep it and see what happens next year. Ford has said they'll price protect through 2023 and hopefully they continue through 2024 to fulfill all original orders. If they don't I'll cancel and wait as I'm not paying more for something they promised in the first place. Plus by then the new EV's will most likely be coming out so the ordering process will start all over again.

The step is really sturdy and well built, I wish I found/had this years ago. I like that it folds up small too and stores inside a cabinet out of the way.

Please tell me you're only joking about waiting 2 weeks to wash your truck? We might be heading down to MX for the day the week of Thanksgiving so I'll be half way to SD. I might just have to come out there and wash it for you one night. lol ?

It is an amazing area for off-road training/play. I might have to try the mud hills when it's a slighter rainier season. Never tried mud before.

That's awesome to hear Kern. I can see how that hill really gets you into the hobby of off-roading more seriously. It would of been sweet to see your bug or older ranger blast up it :)

Oh man, at least they are price protecting. If they didn't I think that would kill a lot of loyal customers. Hope yours comes sooner than later, maybe some people will cancel :p Hah, yup the ordering process infinite twilight zone loop. Will we ever make it out?

It looks really well made and sturdy and sweet it tucks away nicely. We already have too much random truck things laying around taking space as is :giggle:

Hah unfortunately I am not joking. Well, maybe a random burst of energy with your prodding with the herding stick I will get to it at least with a wash, no graphene and GE sometime between these weeks.... Welll... I know those two bottles will be staring at me when I finish the wash, so who knows  enjoy your trip in MX if ya head out there my friend, already can taste the authentic MX food just talking about it.

Here's a new product 303 is coming out with next month. Instead of using Graphene all the time (which you should only apply once a year ) they're coming out with a Graphene detailer. Now you can use this to your hearts content without having to much build up.?

There's a pop up in the second link where you can add your email to the list and get a notification when it's becomes available.

Dont know if there is a plan but once the dates are released would be cool to have a meet up of rangers at tierra del sol. Its a great event and the guided trails are much less intimidating for folks that are newer to the desert.

AMAZING. It is almost like they hear my concerns of wanting to bathe my truck in graphene  Oh right, okay just GE whenever I get around to washing it.

Thank you Dave, will have to get this when it is available. Seems like a decent add in to the detailing kit :)
