I'm an old hot rodder from way back, like the early 60's, but am not really up on turbo's.
So,
Can you all "splain me" in simple terms, just what all the hoopla is about charge tubes and blow off valves, and what their addiction on a stock engine is ?
Aside from the "noise", of what benefit are they ?

Intercooler with pipes is a great addition. It will prevent heat soakand help deliver a colder, denser charge. Aka more power, more consistently.

It’s really not much different than the ol days. Just approach is different now. So up front your trying to push as much cool air as you can building pressure (turbo boost) when enough pressure is delivered but not needed it blows it off. On the other side the exhaust has to be able to release all that pressure on the back side. Down pipes, exhaust etc. That equals more power.
