This looks pretty much on the driver side to me.

Its not really, the fill nozzle is, but the tank goes across the back..
I thought so..anyway , it will be interesting to find out what the problem really is.

Josh just showed a photo., I assume that’s the tank.

Looks like your truck picked up the Chevy lean. Parked near any Chevy or GMC trucks recently? I've heard it is contagious. The only fix is to see your dealer and avoid contact with GM branded vehicles until a cure is found.

Yep the black skid plate on the right (driver side) is the fuel tank.

So my question would be is ~113.4 pound (~18 gallons x ~6.3 pounds(~weight of 1 gallon of gas)) near the center, but on the left side enough to drop the front left side of the truck 1/2". Doesn't seem likely. That's even a worst case measurement.

My JK had the "JK lean" and was told it was the gas, but it leaned regardless.

The easy way to find out if it is fuel is to run the tank down to near empty and take a measurement.

Seems like the truck's design would account for the fuel tank. Plus the truck is usually driven solo, so that's even more weight on the left side. I can't imagine someone signing off on a vehicle that's CG isn't actually at center. Uneven tire wear, unbalanced ride characteristics, uneven suspension wear, etc.

You've got the Taco lean! Probably tires or an uneven garage? Gas tank is usually accounted for.

Yeah, its not my garage, It definitely leans. I can imagine even more with my 230 lbs in the driver seat. I want to put a leveling kit on but I dont want it to lean 2.5" higher! I have a dealership appt next week. It only has 600 miles

I had a new ranger in 1988 that leaned and it was caused by the car hauler binder chains where too tight on left rear. It bent the frame 7/8 of an inch.

Ford knows about his issue. I'm not sure what would cause it. But they've installed this shim underneath the leaf pack on the drivers side. The Ranger I had in my shop had 30ish miles on it and the tank was almost empty and it still had a sideways lean.

I've had Colorado/Canyons and Tacomas & 4Runners with the same type of lean.

Hmmm, well if it wasn't so visibly obvious I wouldn't care.
