I got mine for x plan, no markup and 1k in rebates. Still some dealers with scruples out here.

And if I recall correctly, you did not trade in a perfectly good two year old truck to get something that's virtually the same thing for more money over a longer time frame.

A move which seems less silly to me.

I get it. People need vehicles regardless of market timing. Sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do.

Just throwing some observations out there. I think Nick(OP) went from a 2wd Ranger to a Tremor. If he put 20k+ miles on the 2wd and got 29k for it, I wouldn’t say it’s too terrible. 4wd alone will run ya another 3.5k. Those remote reservoir fox suspension is like 2k+ after installing. 32in General grabber tires another 1k. Electronic locking diff is pretty big + the Fx4 TM, TC and skid plates. All in all, adding the mods he upgraded to, it’s about 6.5k-8k of extra goodies. Not too mention that sweet aux switch inside and got some use out of his old Ranger. Plus he can yell at the dealership if anything acts funny, lots of cool mods! Plus, who doesn’t love a little more access to nature’s beauty

This was the kind of info I was looking for. Hard to modify a 2WD Ranger up to or above Tremor specs.
